December 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I am looking for a Crystal Palace on Dec. 15th for a party of 6, between 5 and 6pm. I currently have a 6:45pm that I would be willing to trade with. I also have Ohana's reservations for various dates between 12/10 and 12/16 that I could trade as well if interested.

Has anyone ever arrived about an hour earlier than their reservation time? Did they make you wait the entire hour until your time, or were you seated earlier?

I've had lots of luck calling 1 hour or so before the time I wanted when I was actually at WDW. I would just get on the phone and call the reservations line. One time I walked up to the desk at Ohana's and asked if they had any walkups and they said no, their manager said not to take walkups because they were all full. So I went downstairs to the lobby phone, dialed dining reservations and miraculously there was an opening in 30 minutes for dinner at Ohana. I was so shocked but thrilled! So you never know. Good luck!
