December 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I am trying to get a dinner ressie on Dec 1st for somewhere in MK or at a monorail resort. I have a 4:05 at the Plaza that I can trade for anything later in the day but before about 7:00.

Am I able to call disney dining and put the ADR conf # in my name? Or will they question it and not allow it?

I suggest keeping the reservation you have, even with the two tables. Many times I have had to make a split reservation for a party of 6 or a party of 8 and we have never had to sit at different tables.

The restauants have always been accomodating to see our entire party together even with the split reservation. I would think with a 4:30 pm reservation you should be in a good position as that is the beginning of dinner and the crowds shouldn't be too big yet.

You can call and transfer it. You may get a CM that says only the original holder can change it, just call back and get a different CM.

Hey there! I just took advantage of the Free dining plan through my Disney visa so I had to move my trip to the following week. Here's what I will be cancelling for a party of 3:

6th: 1:30 San Angel Inn (lunch)
9:00 Ohana (dinner)

7th: 10:20 Tusker House (breakfast)
9:20 Chefs de France (dinner)

8th: 5:00 Grand Floridian Cafe (dinner)

9th: 8:55 Chef Mickey's

I just had to postpone my trip by one month due to FIL heart surgery and I am looking for ANY character meals for a party of 3 December 3-6. There were NONE available when I called tonight to change my ressies. I will be so sad if my ds does not get any character meals on his first trip to Disney!!
