December 2007 Code Watch

Karen, we'll most likely be at the Pop Dec 18 - 24. After that we're moving to a rental home. My son is dying to stay in the 80's building with the Pacman characters outside.

Thank you Slightly Goofy and Usewickhouse for your post about ICE and the CP. Since we are going in a week that is supposed to be slow, I think we'll take our chances and stand in line for the CP.

One more question.. which MVMCP would you attend? I've been told to stear clear of the weekend parties so our options are Tuesday (AP/DVC discount night) or Thursday a non-discounted night.

Any theories as to which would be less attended?

Thanks!

How fun!!! We have stayed at Pop twice and really enjoy it. It really gives you that fun, Disney feel :) I'll keep you posted if we end up going those same dates and maybe we'll see you around :)

I'm going Dec. 2-8th and staying at Pop. Would like to stay at Contemp. next time, so this might be a great thing for me. Keep me informed if possible!!!!!!!!! Thanks:yay: :grouphug: :yay:

we have a package set up during value season 12/18-26th

We are planning for POR, now we need a good old price drop to go with it!;)

I know they have done deals in the past years when we are going the thing is I can not find anyplace how much it drops? ANYONE know how much$$$ is taken of for a moderate room package???
:confused3

We should be seeing them soon. I am not really holding my breath for one and will not be crushed if they do not come out, but it would be nice.

I have a feeling the general code is going to be free park pass upgrades. Free Hopper and waterpark passes.

Ok hypatheticlly speaking of coarse. If its free park pass up grade is that only from a hopper to a hopper and water pass OR is from base ticket to hopper as well???

I have a package set up so with 3 adults and 2 kids so I want to know what the savings would be.

She may have meant that sometimes the deluxes offer about a $100 savings - but it could be $75 as it sometimes is as well.

We're holding WL Courtyard at a AAA, but am hoping an AP discount might be released that will be even better :)

I agree - a few yrs ago WL and AKL std could be $109 with a Fl resident or AP discount (or pin code), but have not seen those recently as rack rates have gone up, of course :)

Fingers crossed for everyone!:thumbsup2

I was surprised she was offering up "guesses", I didn't ask her what they might be..About 3 or 4 years ago, we got WL for $105/night because they asked us to move from POFQ during the renovations there.. I never expected to see those rates again.. I checked the rates for the exact room you have with AAA discount...can't spend over $2000/room for a week...DH would have a fit!!

We just got back from two busy weeks at WDW (had great time though!) and decided it might be nice to surprise kids with 4-5 nights for Christmas this year. Just subscribing to see if we can save some $$$ (have AP and DVC, but points at Christmas are  )

We went to CSR last year end of Nov-beginning of Dec. Originally booked at $139, but general public code was released near the end of August. We paid $99 per night ($111 with taxes). On mousesavers.com, the discounts during value season earlier in 2007 show the moderates at $104.

Did I miss anything? I am waiting for a December code. My family will be there Dec. 19-25th. Any codes out yet?:surfweb:

I really need a code. I want to go to Mousefest on Dec 6-10 and I'm going down with bf on 15-21. So I'm going to stay inbetween if I can get a code. I need a code for Dec 6-21. 15 nights at Disney World

If it is free park pass I believe you get the park hopper and waterpark upgrade free so you are only paying for a base ticket.

You're welcome! I don't want to wish my summer away, but I'm anxious to get to the end of August to see about any discounts.:thumbsup2

Enjoy your trip. :santa:

I'm new to this message board thing, but I'm already hooked! Hopefully I'll still have a job in December, but if I keep reading this site 4 hours a day it might be iffy! Going to WDW with DW, DS (8), who has been twice, and DD (3) for her first time, on 12/5 - 12/9. Not even telling the kids - just getting them up that morning and putting them on the plane. That is, of course, if I can keep my 8 year-old out of the mailbox!

Add me to the list of those patiently:rolleyes: waiting for codes to come out for December.

I'd like to stay at WL 12/10-15.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Welcome to the Disboards! I'm definitely hooked, too.:thumbsup2
