I got the same email as moviegirl, but we only need the codes for 12/4-12/6 for a deluxe.
Do you think it's worth a call, and/or will more codes be coming out for early December?

If it works for me in my situation (4 nights in a moderate) then it might very well be usable for you in your situation.

Why is it that I never get these emails or codes in the mail...we go to Disney every year and I have entered in everything Disney has to offer!! It is maddening!Sorry to vent! Congrats to those that do get them.

digskat, this is the very first time I've ever gotten one! It seems odd that they only seem to target those who are booked. But I think the email address I got it at is in my maiden name.
It remains to see if we can use it...we're going to play a pity card tomorrow.

I'll be at POP Dec 8th-16th. I booked in early July and paid all but about $200.00. I told the CM I was waiting/hoping for an AP discount, so was holding off on the other $200.00. He told me that was a good decision and to expect an AP code to come out around October. I told him I though the codes would be out in late August, but he said 'no, they usually come out about two months prior' .

CMs don't really know when things are coming out. sometimes it's 2 months sometimes it's more. I'm waiting for them as well. I'll be booking in the next couple weeks either way.

If you already have a reservation before the code comes out, can you still use the code? What if you switch properties?

I'm currently booked at Pop Century for 2 nts prior to our DCL cruise. But am probably going to move to POR. Should I wait until the codes come out to do that?

Actually, as long as you have proof that it is your maiden name at check-in (and you can receive mail in that name) I would not even mention it when making the reservation. It is you, so in no way are you trying to use someone else's code.

Do you use your maiden name as your middle name? If so, then you would have ID with that name and it is fine...it is still you!

All of my names are on my paspsort - first middle maiden and married, so I can easily use it for ID if for some reason something comes up in the maiden name...even after 36 yrs it happens!

If you look at historic dates, around August 16th is the day. August would be about 2 months out from the period of time they will be putting rates out for. They will be from October through December 19th. Last year it was August 16th. The year before that the Best Rate program gets in the way and the year before that they were released August 25th.

Postcards are really random. We go to Disney often and have only received one once. You may just not be getting them anymore.

If you want to know who will have the codes first, here or Mousesavers, the answer is both. Mary Waring, Mousesavers guru, does an excellent job of posting codes as soon as she knows. The folks on the Dis post as soon as they know, too. So, just keep checking both.

The date ranges are 9/30 - 11/19, 11/24 - 11/28 and 12/8 - 12/23.

This really disappoints me. We are going 12/1 - 12/9. Guess I cannot use it for one night... Ahh...I knew when I couldn't switch from a mod to a deluxe because all rooms were booked was a bad sign....

UGH! We are the 7th-16th, if our checkin day is not in the code, we can't get it at all can we? It will work out for my parents if the dates are the same this year, they are staying the 8th-16th.

I hope you're right Lisa, that means only 2 weeks to go... if I can get a code, Hubby, mom and I are heading down to a have a christmas blast with Mickey and it will be my mom's first trip!! keeping my fingers crossed!!
