We too are prepared to pay for Poly GVC with our AAA rate for Dec 14-23rd, but if free dining is still around I may upgrade to LVC or GF RPC, we'll see. I'm so excited to be going at Christmas time! The free dining would be a HUGE savings for my family of five plus a baby

We're going 11/29-12/8. Splitting our stay between WL (4 nights - CY) and YC (5 nights - Water) room only AAA = $2640.

Here's hoping a good AP discount is on the way??

Count us in. We are going November 28-December 5. We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. This year has been horrible for promotions and codes. I'm a bit disapointed, because I've never paid rack rate. I take pride in being able to find discounts. So, I'm hoping for anything. The dining plan would be awesome!

Add us to the list. We are going December 2 - December 10 at Poly Conc. 1st trip for newest member of the family. He will 17 months old. Can't wait, he has already been on a Disney cruise at 4 months. Trying to indoctrinate him early.

I just wanted to welcome the newcomers to the thread. Although I've switched our reservations from the cabins to value resorts to save money, I'm still excited about possible discounts and package deals that may come our way. We're going either way, but any little bit helps!

How many are planning on joining the MVMCP activites? I don't think we will because it would be expensive for the six of us. How about the rest of you?

We are booked (3 adults) at Pop Century for December 5-12. December 5 is room only AAA preferred $90 (we don't arrive until 10:00 p.m., so didn't want to spend $$ for an extra package day) and December 6-12 AAA package with park hoppers and dining $1895. If free dining comes out for that period, we would save $507, even if we gave up the AAA discount!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for pixie dust!! Oh, yeah - MVMCP 12/9 (I know it's the dreaded Friday, but that's the day that worked best for our other plans). Thanks for starting this thread!!

Mom_rules- for my 5 adult tickets with AP rate for 4(max) my total was $181.89 or $232.87 CDN. This is for the party on the 13th.

We are! One night it will be just dh, the baby and me (ds & dd are dying to go back to the Neverland Club) and one night with the whole family. Can't wait!

Loving seeing more people joining this thread - we are going to do MVMCP - we are just two adults - not sure which date to go for yet. With a family of six it would be pretty costly. You will have plenty more great holiday activities to do. I am looking forward to just touring the resorts to see the Christmas decorations, seeing the Candlelight Processional and listening to the holiday story tellers in each of the Epcot countries - it is good that there is no extra cost for most of the holiday activities.

We don't have our flights booked yet - I kept hoping a better deal was going to come along and it just looks like it isn't going to - we had planned to fly out on 2nd December but it looks like the 29th November will be quite a bit cheaper for us. When we finally do have the flights booked I will be even more excited!!

No, I don't think so, but usually they end the 24th. So if you book that day (the 24th), you will get the discounted rate the whole time.

We are also doing the MVMCP on the 6th. We've heard mixed reviews but still want to experience it for ourselves. SNOW on Main Street and late hours at that time of year can't be missed.

We will be at WDW from 25 December until 6 January. I can't say where we are saying as it is a surprise for the kids and our eldest has a tendency to be a bit of a lurker on the boards. But we too are hoping for an AP discounted rate of some sort at some point during our stay!!!

Me, DH and DS6 are going Dec. 1 - 4 or maybe 5th. It is DS Birthday on the 3rd - he will be 7!

We have not decided where to stay yet, I think it may end up being POFQ but I am trying to convince my DH to get a DVC resale so it may be somewhere else!
