We just did the "Turkey Day" Cruise (Thanksgiving 2004) and rebooked while on board.

Cruising with me (Cindy) will be my DH Mike , DD Allison (13), DS JC (11), DS Christopher (9), and DD Katie (almost 7). This will be our 6th Cruise, but our first time to stay in a cat. 2 room, #8016. I am very excited to be staying in this room!! :cloud9:

Can't wait to see who is sailing with us!

Hey, hey!!! This is our cruise, too. We were just on the 11/27 and rebooked onboard for our 4th cruise. Can't wait!!! It'll be me and DH. It's never too early to start looking forward to the next cruise. Sometimes it's what keeps me going (sad, but true). :wizard:

Hello!
My DH and I will be joining you as well!!
We rebooked on board our 11/13/04 cruise! We are doing a back to back cruise beginning on 11/25/06 for our 10 year anniversary!!
We are totally looking forward to the trip. We had SO much fun in November it's hard to wait for 2 whole years. We had a really fun Dis group, so it was neat seeing people that we had been chatting with for a little over a year with!

Howdy,
We will be doing back to back cruises with you. We booked last December while on our 5th cruise. We also are taking our family on a 7 day western cruise this December on the Magic. Suppose to be 15 of us. But on your cruise it will just be us old grandparents. Cant wait to go, even though we have been before, should be great fun. Hope we can meet on board sometime during the cruise. Our 33rd Anniversary will be that December, so we have you beat by a few years. We celebrated our 30th on a Disney cruise too. We live near Disney World so we do lots of Disney stuff all year long.
Will you have any family with you?

Hello, Mom X4, Grandmax4!
Dh and I will be traveling alone :flower:
We are totally looking forward to it!! 2 weeks of total relaxation....
We have plenty to keep us busy while we wait, so we don't go insane!! :hourglass

:flower: DH & I will be on board too. We were on the Magic this past Jan and rebooked will on board. Couldn't pass up the rebooking offer. We are really looking forward to the ship & CC being decorated for Christmas. We are also looking forward to the western ports. Last cruise we did the eastern. My parents will also be joining us. After hearing how much fun we had on the Magic, they wanted to try it too. I gave my dad the DIS board website address. I suspect he'll be a DIS'er soon.

Forgot to mention.... we are planning on going down 3 or 4 days early to see WDW all decorated for the holidays. We have been to WDW at least 30+ times, but never over the holidays. After watching the travel channels special on all the holiday decorations we just knew we had to do that too. :mickeybar

They do a nice job of decorating the ship for the holidays!!! in November they had a huge tree in the atrium as well as pine garland on the rails on each level... There were decorations in the dining rooms and around the ship.
I have a sort of silly picture of DH and pirate captain mickey in front of the tree :flower:

HOwdy,
You'll love WDW at the holidays. MGM studios has the biggest display of course, the Osborne spectacle of lights. and although it's really worth seeing, it's not nearly as nice as it use to be before they remodeled the area it use to be in to put in a new attraction. WE go every year as we live 30 minutes from WDW and have annual passes. Be sure and go into the Grand Floridian Hotel. You can get there by Monorail from the Magic Kingdom. They have a huge gingerbread house every year, and much more. At Epcot, at the american adventure restaurant they also have a large gingerbread house to see, not quite as big as the other one. At the yacht and beach club resort they have a carousel made of ginger bread, which is a must to see to. Best of all the hotels are free to go and see. The other parks all have a large tree that is decorated and lots of lights and garlands around the fronts of the parks, but not much to see once you get in them a ways. All the parades are Christmas themed at he holidays too. You'll have a great time. And of course at Disney, Goofy is Santa! Makes for a great picture. And he will be at Castaway Cay too. mom x4,grandma x4

Thanks for all the WDW holiday tips. We'll make a point to check out the hotels. Too bad December 06' is so...... far............. away. I live for vacations, especially those involving ::MickeyMo

Checked DCL's site today and saw that the cruise price has gone up $200 over what it was when we booked. We rebooked onboard so got a different price than that anyway, but I checked "retail" on DCL's site when we booked and it's now $200 more. Love knowing that I'm locked in at a lower rate. Maybe I'm just sick, but it gives me something to do to pass the looooong time until this cruise!!!

Howdy,
my hubby is always checking the prices as they go up too. By the time our final payment is due he feels really good about what he is paying for our cruise. We have seen it go up $800 for our category before, that really feels good! We usually bring family so lots of times we are 3 to 5 rooms, so that really adds up fast. 2006 seems so far away, but we have a 7 day this december that will help the time go by faster. It's hard to wait because every week we see the cruise buses headed for the terminal with happy guests on board and we want to hop aboard or follow them to the terminal. We count all the buses and write them on the calendar and then we will add them up just before we go. It sounds crazy but it does help pass the time until the cruise.

Wow, we are under 600 days already!
Time is really flying by.
Yesterday we got to talking about the upcoming cruises on our way into Orlando to buy furniture. Next thing I knew we were driving to the port.We saw the Wonder in port. That really got us excited to go again. We talked about going to Jetty park and waving to the ship as it left, but I decided that would be too depressing for now. Later we will go back when I have my Mickey hands and will wave to the guests on board. They always think your an employee when you do something like that, and the kids on board love it.
Of course we never made it to the furniture store, next weekend for sure. We did count 25 cruise buses full of happy cruisers headed for the port.
Have a magical day.

Howdy to everyone,
This thread has been pretty quiet lately. Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to check in with everyone to say hi!
Hope you all have a great week,
mom x4,grandma x4 :cool1: :rotfl: :flower:

This thread has been pretty quiet for awhile, so I'm just checking in to say howdy to everyone. I can't wait for our back to back cruise starting nov 25th. I hope as the time gets closer we will find more cruisers going with all of us. We are going on a 3 day cruise on May 12th, so that will help the long wait till 2006. Hope everyone out there is still as excited as we are.
