I did it! I not only figured out that I needed to shrink my designs to make them more clear, but I figured out how to save in jpg form and not only the specific scrapbook format. Here is one, but it's just a back up. The kids and I plan to make one for each day.

Elizabeth, great job! It looks wonderful :thumbsup2

 Thank you! If anyone has a pirate Mickey, I'd appreciate a link.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from all of us here in NH!

I recall many months ago thinking 'wow as soon as Thanksgiving arrives it will be a hop, skip and a jump till our cruise' - WELL IT IS HERE!!!!! :cool1: I am like those little kids in the commercial "I can't sleep" I am so tickled pink over this that I am in HYPER DISNEY mode. Yesterday I cleaned my office and prepared my staff for my departure. ( I work next week for three days, but will be out of the office for the most of it at meetings ) On Sunday we start to "officially pack" meaning our luggage comes up and we start the process of rolling and placing. Oh my! Our plans are made for 12/01/2006 for DTD and a family reunion luncheon at my DHs cousin's new place in Orlando! She offered to have an open house so that we can all just hang out and enjoy the FL sun.

DD and DH are just as excited that is for sure. DD got all her homework from her teachers on Tuesday and spent all day yesterday doing it. From 630 am to 8 pm ( w/ breaks for food only! ) she wants to pass it ALL in on monday - prior to going on vacation !! talk about great kid!!

Well I hope you all have a glorious Thanksgiving day and talk soon!

TTFN :wave2: :p

Happy Turkey Day Everybody!!!!!!!

miztigg - I gave away my Flyers tix for last night. Though it was a good game - the outcome was the same. We'll be there tomorrow afternoon though. Plans for tomorrow include some early AM Black Friday shopping and then lunch at Victor's Club before the Flyers game. The rest of the weekend is set for Christmas decorating (which we usually do the week we're cruising) and finishing touches on the packing.

I was happy to see that snow was removed from our forecast for next week on the day we're flying out. I was even happier to see warm temps for all of us next week! We're doing MVMCP on Friday night (we'll be the ones staggering half asleep on to the boat Sat!) and that will be probably be the chilliest temps we'll see.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I can't believe this!!!! We ALWAYS go to the on post dining hall for Thanksgiving dinner. We usually live 600+ miles from our family, and DH used to be an Army cook and likes going. Thanksgiving has always been on a Thursday, right?

Not this year!! DH never checks his work email, and I haven't been to work in two weeks. Somewhere along there the dining hall sent out a memo saying they "CHANGED" the date for Thanksgiving!! We called today to see what time, and they said they did it yesterday!! AARRGGHH!!! I am working an 8 hour shift starting at 3 pm, so there's no time to do anything! I said I'd do that shift specifically because I could go to eat, then just take the elevator up to work.

Now DH is making a Walmart run to see if we can do a Rachel Ray Thanksgiving in 60 minutes deal. Pray he finds turkey breasts! There aren't even any good Thanksgiving day sales at Kmart that I can go to, since we're not eating out! Cracker Barrel is too far away and no one in town is serving it. The officer's club is sold out, and we don't know of any other mess halls around.

I think this means I deserve an extra dessert the first night on the cruise, and two entrees!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am in the same boat as you, Elizabeth (pun intended ;) ...my family was supposed to head over to my Mom's house in Los Angeles for Turkey day but we are home sick! My kids are getting better but I can't shake my flu symptoms :guilty:

I thought we would have felt better by now (got sick on Sunday) but no go! Now I need to run to the store to find something to cook for my family tonight. My dd, 14, is feeling much better and wants turkey

Wish me luck on dragging my tired body out to the market :rotfl: at least we should be well for the cruise :cloud9:

Hey! Everybody get over their sicknesses and get well soon....for a week from Saturday everyone has to be in top shape to walk through....

Oh, yeah!!! :cool1: Gonna be dancing through those ears :dance3:

Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Momof6: I hope everything works well for you today! I am sure whatever you eat will be great. This should be a great Thanksgiving for you and your family.

Princess Daisy: I hope you all feel better. Have a great day.

We are leaving a week from tomorrow :yay: :yay: :yay:

The whole family pitched in, and we ended up having the basics: shrimp cocktail, veggie tray, salad, homemade mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey breast, homemade gravy and two pies for dessert. It looks measly, but everyone was stuffed! Rachel Ray only beat us by 30 minutes, but she had a perfectly clean pristine kitchen without kids running around making Thanksgiving decorations. A good time was had by all. Now I'm off to eat pie and then to work. Love that overtime! One more short shift after that and I'm on the ship! :cool1:
drclaws, thanks for the photo to put the stress of today into perspective--we're almost there! (but I still deserve two entrees next Saturday night!)

Here's a photo with most of the kids and our spread, OH, and note Jacob's arm cast (far left). He has an appointment on Thursday and he may get it off right before the cruise!!

I am also not an AM person, but it's almost like "Christmas morning"-type of excitement that will have me up early, too. We were at the MK until 12AM back in March and the next day I was beat!!!

They're taping the XMAS Day parade earlier that day, something we thought of trying to get into through DVC, but our DD (2) is way too young to stand around that long.

Back to the Flyers... hopefully things will turn around soon, though you may want to opt for that Vette the way things are going this year. I can't get to all the games, but they're always a hot ticket so I can sell them or give them away to family, etc. With the way they're playing it's been harder to find takers though. It took me until yesterday to finally unload the Dec. 2 tickets for the Devils game.

Here is to good health for next week!! :drinking1 I know our family needs it too! Sinus infections - midwest weather kicks our butt every year, so we are really glad to be leaving it, even if it is for only one week!! pixiedust:

We've got one sinus infection winding down here, too. Looking to be 100% by next Saturday!
