3 would work for us, maybe we could try to meet again on a sea day for those that will arrive later. We received our last set of docs for room #2 yesterday! Ours came directly from Disney though.

alwayslisad - Your good, I haven't even started to think about duct tape yet! I did bring some on our last cruise and never had to use it so it's brand spanking new still. I guess it's time to dig out our over the door shoe holder, suction cups for the bathroom and extra clothes pins. Gotta make a run to the dollar store for some cheap beach toys too. Good luck at the meetings today, make a Starbucks run!

pumpkinbaby - I was hoping to do the same thing too! I was even thinking of bringing some santa hats and making everyone pose in them on the beach! Dh will love that

What should be put on the magnets for the exchange, anything special? Date, ship, should it say DIS board? Never done this before. Should we make them all the same color or just go crazy with it? lol. Either way count us in, just lmk how many to make

I think I am going to go out and purchase some San Diego magnets once I find out how many people are participating. So far Miztigg, Teriandcb and KT27 have given me their cabin # so that I can get a list together...anyone else?

We just got back from preschool church group and both boys are sleeping! We had collected stuff to send to deployed church members, and today we boxed it up--glad that's over! The first time I ever did that was during Gulf War I and I was already stationed in Germany, so we didn't have to pay any postage. That's the most expensive part!

The kids and I talked about funny unexpected things we all want to do on the cruise. Emily wants to shop (to which her brothers replied "what a shock"), Joel wants to swim everywhere, Jake wants to be the first in the room after dinner to take all the chocolate mints off the towel animals, and John wants to beat every game in the Arcade. Will didn't answer, but I'm sure he wants to dance with Mickey Mouse. I want to actually get to the fitness room at least once. DH just wants to relax.

I actually bought magnetic strip tape, so we're moving closer to our door signs. I think I'll get a DCL logo, maybe a photo of the cast, and then our names. I've got ideas, just have to put it on paper. If we get really creative over the weekend, we'll work on daily themes, but who knows? It will be enough of an accomplishment if I can get everyone packed in time without needing to make a huge run to CVS or walgreens in Key West!

OH, one more crazy thing! My neighbor, someone who moved in over the summer but I haven't really met yet, is going on the same cruise as us! My next door neighbor is leaving this Saturday on the Eastern, and she told me today that the others are definitely on our cruise. What a way to meet your neighbor, 600 miles away on a Disney cruise! Now I need to go knock on her door. I asked the dad about it and he said "yeah, we are going on a Disney cruise next month" but he couldn't give me the exact date. I thought that was strange, until I asked my DH about our plans, and he didn't know either! He just knows that once his leave starts, we're on our way, and he knows I know all the details. Talk about trust!

Docs arrived today! It was a thick packet, looked like plane tickets. Now I have to get out our birth certificates and start packing!

Now for some help. How are you all making your door signs? I started today with a digital scrapbook program and made a nice one with a Santa Mickey and Minnie and the DCL logo. NOthing fancy, but it was nice. But it prints horribly! It's not my program, because even when I print it straight from the computer it gets very boxy, like the picture quality is horrible to begin with. I tried printing it as a 3x5 and then smaller as a wallet, and both were grainy and horrible, like the images were from an old 1.0 pixel camera (boxy is the only word I can use to describe the quality). What can I do? I'll ask this on the Scrapbooking board as well, but hopefully someone can help me! That's what I get for procrastination!

I use Coral Paint shop to make my signs...you can download it for a free 30 day trial. I also got some help for the Disboards creativity board. Hope that helps!

Stateroom number sent! Just try finding NJ magnets... However, poetic license allows for Philadelphia since we both work there....

Contacted our TA last night who e-mailed back that he expects to receive our documents from DCL today or Friday and will Express Mail them. All I really care about are the luggage tags since our other things were completed online and we could always fill out the Bahamas form at the terminal next Saurday morning!

miztigg - Rec'd our docs in South Jersey last week. We leave a week from tomorrow and with the trend of late week nasty storms we've been having I have my eye on the 7 day forecasts now. Actually I obsess about the weather, which I know is crazy, but it gives me something to do!!

I did it! I not only figured out that I needed to shrink my designs to make them more clear, but I figured out how to save in jpg form and not only the specific scrapbook format. Here is one, but it's just a back up. The kids and I plan to make one for each day.
