I originally had the Hyatt Mco booked with a great rate of 135.00 a night...well, just checked Hotwire & booked it for 75.00!

We haven't gotten our documents yet either. Our travel agent said, "Oh, I am so glad you called to remind me. I will call Disney and see where they are." She called back and said they told her that they start sending them out at the 14 day mark. What a bunch of HoooEEEYYY! She doesn't know that I have the inside scoop and all I can say is never again!

I have worked on our door signs and used the post-its paper. I hope it works well. Has anyone else used it?

We are arriving Friday night and staying at Country Inns and Suites. We are so excited we can hardly wait. Can't wait to see and meet everyone

We still don't have our documents either but I called disney cruise directly instead of our travel agent and they told me they were mailed on 11/15. Hopefully we will get them tomorrow.

Princess Daisy: congrats on that great Hyatt rate. We would be interested in a dis meet. If I can manage to get my act together with the magnets I will join in that too. I think I am going to ask dh to help me with them.

Pumpkinbaby: My ds9 would be glad to email your ds9 if he would like to meet a friend before the trip. PM me if you are interested.

Frye7127 what post its are you talking about? Are they easier than the magnets?

I'm flying out to Kenya in the morning. Won't be back till its time to fly out again to meet all of you. I'd love prayers for safety for myself and my kids (who will still be at home with dh) if any of you practice that. I'll try and check in once before flying out for the cruise so I can catch up on anything. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!

I thought it would be fun to do a magnet exchange. Maybe magnets from our home state? I have a few San Diego magnets that I would love to surprise someone with on their cabin door.

No docs yet here in Southern NJ. No e-mail from our TA that he's seen them either.

We're game for a meet or magnets. First cruise the meet was in Promenade sometime the first evening. 2nd was just before the sailaway (we managed to miss that one while unpacking).

luvmykids: It is post-it picture paper from 3-M and it says print, peel, and stick practically anywhere. It was about $8 for 20 each of 24-lb sheets which I thought was very reasonable. It may not be a good choice though. I haven't heard back from anyone who has used it.

We are all game for meets and magnets. Maybe Saturday night would be good or Monday morning, since everything seems to be so crazy and pushed on the first day. But, what do I know, since this is our first cruise... Just a thought since those who are arriving later in the day won't miss out either.

No docs here in NC, but we forgot to check our mailbox a few times (it's a community mail box with slots for 16 houses, and it's not near our house), so maybe the mailman couldn't fit yesterday's mail in there. But it's empty now!

Well, our biggest plans for the month are done, so all I have to do is plan for the cruise! We had my 10 yo DS's bridging from Cub scouts to Boy Scouts in my back yard, and then the families came to my house. All 50 family members!! I've never had that many people at my house, and because it gets dark so fast, most were in my house!! UGH! But it was a success, I learned lots of new casserole and pot luck meals, and now it's done. I get the carpets cleaned this week and then I can lay everything out on the living room floor to pack. we're going to the dining hall on base for Thanksgiving dinner, then I'll work a shift at the hospital, so there won't be anythign for me to do for that holiday.

Gotta post this now so I can see my ticker!

I have searched the past threads for people's opinions on a time and place for a dis meet. It seems that the Promenade Lounge at 3 pm on Saturday works well. Usually by 3:00 everyone is onboard, has had their lunch and has been to their rooms. What does everyone think?

Someone also had made nametags with the posters avatars and screen names. I am not that handy with the computer but maybe someone else is?
