Makes at least three!!

How are you folks from NJ getting down to FL? When are you headed down? We're flying down on 11/30 and spending two nights at Saratoga Springs.

My dad's from NJ, does that count? :)
We have 7 members of our extended family flying out of the NE, I think from Hartford (or Laguardia, depending on where Dad got the best rates). They're arriving in Orlando on Dec. 1st and we're all staying at the Marriott Residence Inn. We're driving down from NC, leaving around midnight Dec. 1st am, and we're not sure if we'll go to Epcot or just spend lunch at downtown disney before driving back to the hotel.

OH, and i finally got Nicholas' birth certificate, so we're all set! Last time we only had 6 weeks to plan our trip (Make a Wish surprised us with the dates), and when I called the NC vital statistics office, they mis-addressed William's birth certificate to the outer banks of NC instead of our address in RI!! :scared1: We finally got it just one week before we sailed. We hadn't had his because we moved away 10 days after he was born and it slipped my mind. So this time, we're all set, and I'm doing our online sign up this weekend.

Does anyone have a Passporter DCL guide? We had one from our 2004 cruise, but I lent it to someone and bought the upgraded one this week. If you buy online after signing up on their site, you get 20% off, plus they are getting rid of their 2005 WDW guides, so if you buy one book, you can get the deluxe 2005 WDW guide, with fold out maps and pockets, for $1!! I have to work a 12 hour shift tonight, so I'm bringing "homework" so I can plan our day at Epcot!

We've read the Passporter front to back so many times now we practically have it memorized. It's one of the best resources out there.

We're planning on lounging around during the day on Friday - perhaps walking over to Downtown Disney. We're having an early dinner at 1900 Park Fare and then it's off to MVMCP - which we're very excited about.

5 weeks from today!!!

Same here, except change SS to BWV! Flying via Southwest out of PHL. Will kick around Boardwalk, Epcot, and the Studios. Dinner Friday night at Victoria & Albert's

Love my Passporter books! so much great info :wizard:

We are off to costume contest for our doggies. Daisy, our pug, is a hula dancer with grass skirt, bikini top & lei and our puppy chichua (sp?) is a "hot dog" complete with buns & mustard :rotfl: they look adorable!!

We generally have been flying out of Philly or Atlantic City. This time we got a pretty good deal on JetBlue out of Newark though. Trying to figure out what is worse though - the delays in Philly or the security problems in Newark?! Did you read those stories regarding the security lapses there? Scary!

Alright, finally getting down to business. Trying to make my pre cruise ressie for Cape Canaveral Residence Inn but their website keeps freezing and won't let me complete it, UGH!!! We'll be driving our rental to Budget and shuttling to Port on cruise day. Ds just reached 40" (yep my 4yo is a shorty), so I'm rethinking Vero Beach and tempted to switch to Disney World post cruise. In which case I might be joining some of you at AKL. Decisions, decisions. If you are wondering what the significance of 40" is, we're not just celebrating some random height acheivment. ;) Ds has been measuring himself daily for over a year to see when he'll finally be tall enough to ride TOT (my shorty is a thrillseeker). He's finally hit that golden number. Surely that merits a trip right?? :thumbsup2 Poor little dude just got glasses too (some of you may remember my dd had to get them a few months back). And just in time to lose them on the cruise!!! Still trying to figure out how 2 parents with 20/20 vision have 2 blind as bat kids. :confused3 I was able to get my Kenya flight changed to Nov 29, instead of Nov 30. So I will now be home a full 29 hours before flying back out for the cruise. I'm very glad about that.

I got the kids some semi formal outfits today at Target of all places. $40 total for a gorgeous black and gold dress for dd and a 3 piece outfit for ds. Now if I could just find some clothes for me. I'm going to start officially packing Wed. I will be in no shape to pack after getting back from Kenya, so I have to have it all done before I go, Nov 18.

Happy Halloween!!!!!

Hey Tink&SquirtsMom: We will be at AKL after the cruise...come and join us  :teeth: gotta ride the Tower or Terror! :thumbsup2

I am getting ready to start packing...I know it should be great weather for the ports we cruise to but staying in Orlando afterwards...was soooo cold last time around end of December in Florida. We had to go out and buy scarfs & jackets :confused3  Looks like I'll have to bring a little winter clothes incase another cold front comes along.

Wow, can't almost a month away:hourglass :dance3: :dance3:

my countdown clock just hit 29 days - wowowowwowoo - wahoooo - :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I have my rent a van ready for day before....hotel ready for day before day before (11/29) and everything seems to be in place. Just need to try on the outfits we are planning on bringing....

=)

4 weeks and 1 day :cheer2:  :cheer2:
I have most of the stuff I need, I would just like to find a dressier dress. We're not going all out for formal night, but I want something new!! But it's hard getting out of the house during the day, let alone get out without any tagalongs. Somehow I'll figure it out. We leave here in 30 days!!!

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Our doggies ended up winning in the costume contest. The Hula pug, Daisy, won first place and my little puppy one second place as a "hot dog". :thumbsup2

My ds, 4yr, had fun trick & treating and my dd, 14, had alot of fun trick/treating w/her girlfriends...except they got chased down the street by some teen boy wearing a freaky "It" Clown costume along with bloody fake knife...gave my kiddos a scare

Okay, we got Halloween down and next Thanksgiving and off we go!! :yay:

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween..DD (17) took DS(8) trick or treating with her friend and friends nephew, I finally got to stay home and give out candy to the few trick or treaters we get. (We live kinda out in the boondocks.)

I got the suitcases out and would like to start packing. With DH not getting home until just a couple days before we cruise, I really can't pack just yet. A

I wish we were staying at Disney after our cruise! We just can't keep the kids out of school that long. Not that they would complain.

The last cruise we went on it was really chilly for the sail away party, I remember wearing a jacket. It has been in the 80's here the last few days. It is usually cooler by the water though.

Happy November.

Trick or treating wa fun but I'm all to glad to pack away the Halloween stuff and move into November. Only 1 month to go till our sail date. I even wrapped 8 Christmas presents today! I'm determined to cut through this to do list (I have 2 weeks to pack for Kenya and the cruise, do all my Xmas shopping, wrapping, decorating, and get all my stuff bought and organized to start back at school Dec 14 ,just 2 days after I get home). The people at Target were looking at me wierd though as I'm buying up the wrapping paper as they are putting it out, while everyone else was still busy scooping up the Halloween markdowns. But if I can get this stuff done I can try and squeeze in enough time to work on my door signs.
