I asked this question before but didnt quite understand:

I am going to WDW December 13 2009-26, do I make my ADRs with the 90 window or the 180?

Sorry, I just have to :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: DH thinks I'm crazy planning 4 months out....I'll have to share that someone is working on Dec 2009!

*sorry don't know the answer, but it was just too good to not :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well...We will be on our honeymoon 12/2/09-12/13/09. We're staying concierge at AKL and the planner there advised that we could make our arrangements at 180 days. Not sure if that was quoted as habit, or if the 180 day window will be re-instated next year. I'm not sure anyone knows for sure.

Well - I believe the 90 day window is a short term fixture while they roll out their new dining reservation system. However, once the new system is up and running, I've no idea how that will work. The rumor is you will be able to get ADR's online without having to call (I know, that's redundant) - so hang loose and see how the new system works. And good luck, I hope you get all the ADR's you want.

I still have 480 days until the vacation (300 more days until I make my ADRs)

oops! Sorry, I misread. :goodvibes

Your dining reservations should open up 180 day in advance. They are different right now because Disney is implementing a new online reservation system that I believe should be up and running sometime in October.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Some rumours are that at that point (october 2008) they will revert to the old 90 day reservations. Don't know if that is true or not. Guess we will find out in October.

I just booked our honeymoon for April 2009 and of course I asked about setting up ADRs. The wonderful CM I spoke with looked up the date for me and it's 180 days out.

I might be silly for not realizing this:blush: , but she also told me that you can make all of your ADRs at once. You don't have to call in 180 days for each day of your vacation.

You won't be able to book until Disney allows booking for Jan 25 (or 26th can't remember) and beyond, which is 90 days out, so I think it's October for January and beyond.

As for the calling all at once, if you're staying on Disney property, you can call at 180 days out and make reservations for 10 consecutive days of your trip. It's called the 180 + 10 policy. If you're not staying on property, you can't do this. Also, if you're within the 180 days, you can always call for all your reservations at once -- like if you're going in 3 months from now or something.
