Hi all!

I'm just getting caught up on all the posts. All y'all have been busy!

I am officially frantic now; It is characterized by rapid tail chasing with no discernable productive output.

I amassed all the things I wanted to take with us in one "staging area", realised it could not happen as invisioned, and came down with analysis paralysis.

Please tell me I'm not the only one!!!

I look forward to meeting you all, and Andrea I owe you (at least) one drink.

LOL no themed rooms for Eeyore! Our vet is the colleges and high school training spot, so they are loads cheaper. For a 15 minute walk every two hours, 2-20 minute play times and a "social" half hour with the bigger 'room' with a run it is only running us $15 a day. For just 4 walks a day and a non run kennel it is 11 a day. The people there adore him ( they way they fawned over him when he got his bordetella shot last month was embarrassing, but, these are the people who saved him fromthe parvo) so I am comfortable taking him there but it looks like it wont be happenning as soon to be ex bil needs a place to stay.

Deep breath Kat, you are panicking me just reading it! Take what you have, cut it into half and realize most of the time no one is looking at you and dont care what you wear!! If that wont work we will buy you enough drinks when you get there so you wont care what you have on

OMG Michele, I just realized you dog is the same name as my DH....remember my DH is half deaf, you profess your love about your dog within earshot he might think you are talking about him! (lol j/k! He was standing here reading that so I thought I would embarrass him a bit)

Flattery will get you everywhere my dear But I am way to old to be Ellie!

This is my first vacation like this and honestly, it is overwhelming to me. But, I look at it as a once or first( haha looking forward to the next cruise )
in a lifetime for me and my kids. I imagine seeing them with the dolphins, swimming with the rays and seeing that pretty ship for the first time and I realize just how much I can give my kids that I never got. I feel blessed is the best way to put it I guess!

I worried until about a week ago about looking out of place, or that our clothes are not brand name and fancy, and then I thought about it one night and realized I was being foolish. 5 years from now people wont remember that my bag is from Walmart or that my clothes arent designer ( well if I wear that thong at the pool Andrea talked about people will ALWAYS remember me ) but my kids and DH will remember all the great memories and one of a kind things we did. Hokey but true!

We are going to have a great time girlie! Sounds like we all need to figure a night to go dancing, you can cut a rug, Charlie can line dance, and we all cannot wait to have Andrea teach us the bugaloo!

Marcy, hurray for you at being completely packed! When do you leave for Florida? I hear we have another cold front coming through. (I know I am always busting about the weather) I just think ya'all should be aware it does get chilly here this time of the year. Have a safe flight.

It is going to cost me $250.00 to put my dear baby in the kennel for the time we are gone.

WED - H80 L61 20% Chance of rain which was not there last night...Tom keeps changing things!


We have been moving all this past week, no time for anything. My goal this weekend is to try and get all the paperwork organized and everything packed...wish me luck,

Well we had a great day. They had a live nativity at church and animals and activities, girls had a blast but Carrie hates Santa lol

We getting tons of snow and there is a HUGE storm coming in the night we leave, hoping it doesnt blow in earlier!

Hi everyone, I finally have been able to log on. I am so frustrated with our computer, as they are doing work with the internet server in our town and surrounding areas, Everytime i tried to get on to read what is happening I get booted off.

I am in panic mode now, I have just started packing today. We leave on Monday. My DH, and DS's took the dogs to Grandma's until we get back. It is a 4.5 hour drive, they left today, and will be back tomorrow. so it is an all nighter for me tonight.

I am really going to need that drink when we board. I am so worried my FE stuff is not adequate. I am trying to decide what to pack. My DH wants to pack bottled water, but this will load our suitcase up so much. I can't find some things I wanted to bring. Anyways the list goes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Need to go change the over.

I cannot speak for everyone as I am worried about the same thing as you, but I believe it is the effort, not the actual gift that matters. My kids would get excited over a paper clip if they believe it is a present!

Couldnt you just get your water when we are in Key West or get grocery delivery if you are doing a resort stay before hand?

It is the thought that counts, not how big or small or whatever! No matter what it is I am sure everyone will enjoy. I had a heck of a time deciding what to get everyone....I am not good at picking out gifts for other folks at all, I always worry wether they will like it or not, and then DD reminds me of (it is the thought that counts phrase).

We went to the DAV for their yearly Christmas party for the scouts. I feel so bad for them because with the economy they are stuggling as well. They always have a wonderful dinner for the boys and Santa arrives and gives them a little treat. This year they asked everyone to please bring a dish to help out. They gave all the boys a stuffed animal (that was donated) once they visited Santa.

Only 7 more days....

Times really are hard Michele, they were talking about the increase of traffic through the food pantry at church today. Breaks my heart to think of ppl without food, makes me remember just how blessed we are.

We are getting slammed with snow, I keep thinking in just a few days we will be in the warmth again!

Thanks for the encouragement. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. The people I work with think I am crazy for doing all this planning, but that is just me. I love to do stuff like this.

Thanks for the advice on Key West or the grocery deliver for the water. How do I arrange a grocery delivery, and is it reasonable?

I would love to see snow, It has been WAY TO LONG since I seen it last. I just couldn't live in it anymore. It was perfect here weather wise today. Hopefully it will be that way when everyone arrives here in Florida.

I agree Lucinda, we are extremely blessed! There are so many families struggling right now and we could be along with them at any given moment.

Karen, I seen something over on the camping board about a store that delivers to the campground. Let me go over there and see if I can dig up anything.

Well, we will be adding one more to our party!! My DD(22) was unable to come with us at first due to the fact that she had just started a new job. But I spoke with her today and the temp job she had, finished a lot quicker than expected She has no job, but she's coming on the cruise!! She should have more work after the holidays, though.
So, we are surprising my husband and kids. She will get into MCO about a 1/2 hour before we do. I don't know how I will keep my mouth shut for a week!!
