I agree, there are so many people suffering I feel guilty going on our vacation.

As for the snow, it is starting to really come down here. It is very pretty. The problem is the roads are very slippery. My DH and DS's will come back tomorrow, and we are driving to Edmonton on Monday and flying from there. It is a 6 hour drive. Just chatted with a friend in Edmonton, and she said the roads are horrible there.

I would love to see snow, It has been WAY TO LONG since I seen it last. I just couldn't live in it anymore. It was perfect here weather wise today. Hopefully it will be that way when everyone arrives here in Florida.

I agree Lucinda, we are extremely blessed! There are so many families struggling right now and we could be along with them at any given moment.

Karen, I seen something over on the camping board about a store that delivers to the campground. Let me go over there and see if I can dig up anything.

lol would you like me to send you some via Fedex? I think we have more than enough, scary is the almost foot some are predicting for early AM of the day after we leave.

Karen I went over to the DVC board and they say Albertsons.com and Vons.com. deliver....It will probably be better to use the one Lucinda said though because each of these has a $50.00 minimum order required. Von's doesn't deliver on Sat or Sun either. Prayers that you'r DH and Boys make it home safely. Hopefully they'll have the roads cleared by the time they head home tomorrow. Have a safe flight!

Lucinda, I am originally from N.W. PA and we use to get snowed in alot (we lived WAY out in the boonies and they would have to use big D-9's to dig us out. It would be nice to play in it for a few hours though. I hope you all don't get snowed in on the day you are to fly out.

Well, we will be adding one more to our party!! My DD(22) was unable to come with us at first due to the fact that she had just started a new job. But I spoke with her today and the temp job she had, finished a lot quicker than expected She has no job, but she's coming on the cruise!! She should have more work after the holidays, though.
So, we are surprising my husband and kids. She will get into MCO about a 1/2 hour before we do. I don't know how I will keep my mouth shut for a week!!

Karen- I hope your flight goes off ok! Are you guys staying at a resort or offsite?

We are staying at the CBR at WDW. On Wednesday we are taking the bus trip to the space centre, then Thur and Friday - the parks.

ahhh so the snow is nothing new to you! We are up in northern Indiana towards lake michigan, so we get all the Lake effect. We shouldnt get snowed in, if we do I am sure we can make it by Saturday!

Whew, we made it! Actually we had an uneventful trip... which is always good when flying!
Coming from the west coast, we have been able to get our grocery shopping done, dinner made, swimming in, unpacking done and kids to bed and it is only 9:12pm.... well, that is if we were still on the WEST COAST! It is really after MIDNIGHT!
Luckily everyone but me is in bed getting ready for the next 6 days of theme park touring. SeaWorld and MK for MVMCP tomorrow to start!

Wecome to Florida Marcy!! Hope you all have a good week. While at MK tomorrow night stop by Casey's corner and look for DD Tiffany. SHe is a GT there but sometimes works up front to help out. DH and I are meeting DD up at Disney Thursday but I think we are going to Hollywood Studios (I can't get use to calling it that) and then DTD.

I'm so bummed! I hope they do the elevator to deck 9 and announce us like they did for the european cruises! That was one of the highlights of the cruise the big "welcome".

I am in panic mode now, I have just started packing today. We leave on Monday. My DH, and DS's took the dogs to Grandma's until we get back. It is a 4.5 hour drive, they left today, and will be back tomorrow. so it is an all nighter for me tonight.

I am really going to need that drink when we board. I am so worried my FE stuff is not adequate. I am trying to decide what to pack. My DH wants to pack bottled water, but this will load our suitcase up so much. I can't find some things I wanted to bring. Anyways the list goes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Need to go change the over.

I think we are all feeling like you! I worry about the FE stuff, the packing is daunting...when do we leave? I need some relief! I KNOW that everything will work out. I for one am excited about getting ANY surprises in my FE I don't care what it is!

I started Fri putting them to bed 30 mins earlier. Tonight it wil be 1 hr earlier. I usually do small increments like this because it seems to help the jet lag. We have tried staying on west coast time but those early mornings (which were actually 8 or 9 am) were hard. I have found that if we get them a few hours ahead of west coast time they can manage better (but not be fully on the east coast time) Am i making any sense? I feel like a loon right now...

My son & DD8 are all ready to go. Today is DD10 & DD4 's day. Tomorrow I hope to have DH & I done I work Tues & Wd then Thursday night I will pack the last toiletries, cameras, carryons etc. I am posting this plan so that I am obligated to stick with it (part of my procrastination problem is that I am great at planning..horrible at execution!)

well, DH has been prince charming these past few days...he's managed to pack 24 boxes for our move and pack his own suitcase for the cruise!!!! he's truly a rockstar in my book!
i haven't started putting anything in my suitcase yet, i have put all of my hanging clothes in a special section of the closet. today i'm hoping to accomplish the last loads of laundry before we move.
this house has never seen such a mess in seven years.

i just have to keep that coffee pot brewing and it'll all be okay.

ok, yall are about to see a women FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

I offhandedly decided to check the tracking on my FE/diaper/etc box and omg you guys, it is set to be delivered HERE tomorrow!! It says it was REFUSED at port and there is DAMAGE noted!!!!!!! I am flipping out at this point. There was some stuff that was in plastic containers but I do not see how it could have gotten broken unless a dump truck ran over it!!!! I just cannot believe this! Thank GOD I checked it tonight!

Yes, I know, no more Stack for DD22 & DS19. There is a college-age type of gathering called the College Club Social. I'm hoping the oldest 2 look into that. My other DD17 will be 18 in 4 weeks. She's not too happy about not being able to go to Palo's and the College Club.
We are staying at the Residence Inn Cocoa Beach on Friday. Maybe we will run into each other and introduce the kids. Our flight gets in at around 6:30 and we should be at the hotel about 830ish.
