What's cold? What's the temps been lately? Just wondering what to pack in the overnight bag for the hotel at the port the day before we sail. We were still in fleece up until last week, temps were in the 40's overnight, but still 60's during the day. Now, this week, full winter gear!! High of about 20!!

I believe that the brunch is only offered on sea days. The tea and brunch are all booked for our sailing. There were a few openings left for dinner. However, people cancel and rebook, so you may still find something.

Hello everyone.. sorry to gatecrash but would love some friendly advice

2008 has been a bit of a rollercoaster for myself (23) and my brother (16) this year and neither of us are particularly looking forward to Christmas, as both our parents passed away over this period. I have been looking at last minute deals and I think we have both decided that getting away from everything and getting some sun is a great idea!

I have put in a request for this cruise. The question is will we have enough time to plan everything? We are both newbies and also coming from the UK as well. Also are we too late for magnet/ fish exchange? I would love to take part and also meet new people.

Hey all. We just booked the 12/13 sailing! I can't believe it. Anyway we are a family of four Disney fanatics. My DS is 7 and DD is 4. We were at WDW in June with extended family. 13 of us toured the world and had a blast. We have been to WDW lots and sailed a land and sea back in 2000 before the kids were born. We've been on other lines and love cruising and are excited to actually sail a 7 night Disney Cruise!!! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all in the 3 short week we have until sailing.

Did I see a family of Steeler fans? Another thing we are fanatics about especially living in the burgh. I'm wondering what the chances are that the 12/14 game will be on at Buffets Margaritiville in Key West?

Welcome! I am so sorry for your loss, but what a great way to get a fresh start and how adventureous too! We have closed the magnet & Fish extender exchange as we all had to have time to purchase/make our items.

We are having a meet on the first day at 3PM in the promanade so come and meet us all!
I think you will have plenty of time to get it together and get things planned. There are a ton excursions left still, the only thing I would worry about right now would be finding a flight to get you here in time, I saw another post from someone trying to fly in from the UK for next weeks cruise and they were having a tough time getting flights that would work. If you flew in a few days before though you'd be just fine!

Welcome! My family is originally from Beaver & Zelie...where are you? We go visit every few years (I spent most of my childhood there but it's hard to get back with all my kids!) I'm not a big sports fan but I always root for my boys (Pirates & Steelers) when I can! We watched Monday night football in the pub onboard last cruise it was actually alot of fun with the pub master! Not sure if they will be showing the game at Margaritaville but we will probably see you there, I am a HUGE Margaritaville Tequila fan, not quite a parrothead but I love Jimmy's music and his food/beverage lines even more!
I have a 7 yr old son & my youngest DD will be 4 on the cruise so I'm sure we'll be seeing each other quite a bit in the club too!

Hi Andrea. We are near the airport and I grew up in New Castle. Small world huh? My kids are so excited for clubs so we will probably running into each other a lot!

Speaking of graphics magic, does anyone have any advice for those of us who are technologically impaired? I've got a couple of graphics that I want to personalize, but not sure how to go about doing that. Even a pointer in the right direction would help. Thanks all!

It's getting so close, I'm so excited! Time to go into warp drive packing, craftying, all out crazy excited! Wheeee!

Hi Lucinda, I was able to discontinue my meds and weight restrictions should be over by Dec. 5th, just before the cruise. I feel fine and everything is going great. Charlie

I have a dirty house. That's my secret... (actually I spend 90% of my workdays in front of a computer waiting for an emergency. Sometimes 12 hours and NOTHING happens, so I have alot of time to pay bills, surf the internet & make signs!)

I use photo impact to do my signs. If you only need to add names you can do it on Microsoft Word or Publisher or Paint (add a text box and type your words). If you want to cover someone elses words you can select the same color background for your text box and place it over their words. If you really have no clue, you can send it to me and tell me what you want done and I'll add it it my list while I'm at work tonight!

I should clarify, it's for the signature at the bottom of our posts. Lucinda we are too much alike. My SIL lives 2 houses away and every once in a while I will end up with my 4, her 2, Mandy's 2 and the 2 girls up the street (no one wants to miss the action!). I usually don't notice until it's time to eat and there aren't enough seats for everyone!
