December 13, 2008 Western Caribbean!! Let's get acquainted!

Yay, I showed the pics to Charlie because he had complained about it on our first cruise saying he didn't like the way it was, hehe. It's been miserable with rain over here today and they found the remains of a little girl they believe is Caylee Anthony so that will be the big story over the weekend and coming week. I started packing last night so I am on my way. Trying to make time to get everything done before deadline!

I had heard it was quite hot in Orlando yesterday...We have been having crazy temps and tons of rain..15 the other morning and 60 yesterday!!!!

Thank goodness there's no snow, flying tomorrow looks ok as of now.

That is so awful about that poor baby girl, I'm almost hoping that it is her so that they can lay her to rest...

I was decorating my tree and the ornament that I purchased on our cruise from Nov 8-15 BROKE!

If anyone is interested in purchasing a Magic 2008 ornament to replace this one I would be forever grateful!

I know that most of you are already on your way to FL (I am so jealous), but if anyone sees this and is willing, please pm me. Thank you so much.

Were all packed, all we have to do is load the car. We pick DS up from school at 2:30 and then we are off to the Residence Inn.

We hit MK today, was surprised it wasn't very busy. It did pour today so maybe it kept folks away. DTD was a madhouse like usual.

Well we made it home without incident. I hope the rest of you made it safely as well. It was great to meet all of you and so nice to have people to say hi to in the halls and the ports when we ran across each other.

We made it home as well, only had a 20 minute delay back to Providence. We did come home to over a foot of snow though Thankfully, the folks who were caring for our dogs plowed us out.

So did everyone have a good time? Did anyone notice that Albert Pujuls and his family were on our cruise?? Being from St Louis I, of course, noticed. He flew up on the same flight as my family on thursday and then came back home on the same flight last night.

Our family had an excellent time and we can't wait to come back sometime.

We got off the ship at about 7:30 and was home by 9! we picked up our doggie from the vets and I was in bed by 9:30... I was completely exausted from this vacation.

We had such a great time and it was nice to meet everyone. We enjoyed coming back to the room and finding little goodies in our FE too.

Andrea it was fun that we got to do the parasailing together! I am so glad DH talked me into that, It was amazing.

Hope everyone gets back home safely.

We just got home, our flight was cancelled in CVG yesterday so we stayed in a hotel and now they have lost our baggage! It is soooo cold here!

Well evidently our connection was coming from out east and didnt make it. It was such a long day, we could not even get a rental car to drive the 5 hours home! Glad to be home and yet I miss the warm weather and the ship!

Well, we did not book a return cruise. We are waiting a few years to, but we are planning on renting a pool home next Dec for two weeks and staying over Christmas. A whole new vacation to plan!

I have spent the evening scanning the pics from the ship and I have downloaded 4gb full from the parks and ship. I cannot believe I took that many!
These are my favs so far from the ship and dolphin swim ( I spent wayyyy to much on pics!)

We spent way to much on photos too, but we always do. I just hate that most of them are 8x10's. I think my favorite pictures were the ones DH and I did on the white background. I had to buy another camera because I left both of my cameras sitting on the table at home....I hated the new camera I bought! My Nikon takes such beautiful pictures.

We didn't rebook while on board either, although we did buy into another vacation club resort with DVC.
