we are - when you book with them your reservations actually go through best of key west - same boat, just 2 ways to book. We are doing 5:00 - I know they had room for a few more at our time and our 2 girls have been emailing each other (Bri). So if Scooby and Pamrod are using the same company they must have an earlier time. You are more than welcome to join us - we are the 3 tandems at that time

Is Disneyfan following this thread? I'm working on my fish extender dropoffs, and was wondering the appx age of Nick in 6309? He's shown as an adult. I am sorting things sorta by age appropriateness, and was just curious.

Nearly finished with FE and gifts, spending lots more time on that than on excursion planning. Hmmmmmmm......

Can't wait to see Key West again.... we will definitely just wander. I'm hoping to be at Mallory dock at 5:30 for sunset. Late dinner seating might actually help. Margaritaville would be a good stop. Did you know you can't buy a "cold draft beer" there? Or at least you couldn't last time I was in... it's all bottled.

My kids have never snorkeled, so I can't say if snorkeling will work for us or not. I'm hoping! They're pretty good swimmers, and they like the water. Trying to decide whether or not to pack our own snorkeling gear. We all have masks and snorkels, but no fins. Would take up a lot of space.

Just rambling on.... so excited; four weeks from this moment, we'll be arriving on board!

Our last cruise we para sailed at Castaway Cay I snapped a picture of hubby and oldest daughter only to realize later that they were right by the Disney Magic.

Oh my kids were all kinda tickled trying them on then I made them give them back because I knew they would loose them before the cruise...

You should try..... really! I keep telling people even a little kid or a disabled or elderly frail person cam do this now! They winch you in and out , like a kite on a string and you don't even get jarred...its a lovely experience.
I feel like a baby in a cradle......

I know its off season.......
I have not ever para sailed for less than 50 dollars so I am amazed this seems a very good price.

I am going to invest in a bigger card for my waterproof camera so I can video my family.

12- 15 minutes - they need to weigh at least 50 lbs to go tandem

You're tethered, totally safe. However, I have to tell you a funny story. We were in Puerto Vallarta. A friend and I were sitting on the beach at the Wyndham resort. I'd say about every hour, they come up and offer to take you on a ride. We kept saying no, maybe tomorrow, etc. The next day we heard a local talking saying that one of the operators got too close to a crane working near the beach. Yep, you got it....the parasailer got stuck. And....because they were unlicensed (probably) and in Mexico (most likely), they cut the rope and left her there so they wouldn't get in trouble.

Let's just say, do it with a reputable company!
