31 days!!!!!!

Yeah! Another morning person. I'll have friends to meet for coffee in the mornings while my family sleeps.

Me too! I'm up at 6 my time. But by the time the dog got out and the cats switched around it's 6:30. I'll be seeing you guys up on deck for a walk at 6 am! Can't wait to be walking out on deck in the ocean air!!!!

Count me in for early am walks! That's what I did on our last cruise. I walked, taking in the sunrise, while my family slept away.

My DH thanks you because he won't feel obligated to keep me company now. Salt air at sunrise, warm coffee, breeze. I can't believe we'll be there in less than a month.

I'm an early morning person too!! I plan on getting up early and taking photographs of the ship while it's still "empty". So if you see somebody struggling with a tripod at 6 am or so, it might be me.

On the last cruise (12/07) I was up the 1st nite while the family slept. I was so excited. I just wandered the ship in a daze. Didn't get to bed till after 2 am. The next morning I was up at 6:30 am, AMPED . I decided to go to gym while family still slept. The view while I was doing the treadmill was amazing, the whole ocean before me! Finally came back to room and the wife thought I was insane. She just figured it out then?

I do have a question re: FE gifts. Been on all the sites and boards and still not sure if it's generally 1 gift per FE or what? 1st timer and we wanna get it right.

In 30 days we fly out of LAX to Orlando and room at the Hyatt. If any of y'all are around we'll be there. The girls would like to meet any 4-7 year olds to hang with..Lemme know. (GOTTA LOVE THE ICONS)

Ya, I check them at least 3-4x daily when I'm in the office. It's an addicition that's only getting stronger, as you can see.

BTW, love the duct tape and zip lock ideas as good all around fix it tools, but when I write it I feel kinda creepy.

What ever you feel is good for you to give will be appreciated.

I have a grab bag with small gifts for each family to share, tiny mementos of trip for adults a bit of candy for kids to eat at the movies, stuff like that.

Some people make and give music CD's, scrapbook items anything you want. In the past I have received a miniature bottle liquor (Tennessee), Goo Goo clusters. Candy from Japan from an Asian person who also included a small magnetic fan for the refrigerator(that was cool).... Small state room magnets for our door.
This is what makes it fun you never know what you will get. It doesn't have to be expensive, although one man I know of did bring a case of wine on board and gave each cabin a bottle.

So it can be inexpensive, expensive, store bought or home made. Each gives what they feel comfortable with. Its really fun giving and receiving it adds a bit of magic to the vacation.

My DH stays up late one night and does laundry for the family, his sweet way of letting me actually have a week where laundry isn't my responsibility. I just love that he does that. The laundry rooms are usually very crowded during the day. I read that they have automated them and now you just swipe you door key card to pay for it, so you wont need quarters.

We are considering going to Epcot on that day. It is the park open the latest that date. We are still debating the logic of paying 125$ per person, when we don't arrive in Orlando until 2. Would love any thoughts.
