well, DMMarla is leaving tomorrow for WDW and I'm at 102 days...getting SOO close to the double digits, that is very exciticng since I booked so very long ago!

My kids are off to school for the first day today...hard to believe summer is over!

I don't know what DFTW stands for. Do castaway club members get to book earlier? Jeez, I should know this stuff or go look it up. But then again, the DIS is great for getting info!

I know that it is correct for Castaway members and new passengers, but can't help you with concierge.

My Pay in Full Date is in September, and I'm waiting til then as we aren't doing any excursions for this cruise...just the cruise experience itself. What I'm waiting for is my 90 days to make my ADRs for the WDW part of our trip! That is only 11 days away to make those - woo hoo

I don't think we're doing any excursions except maybe the stingrays at Castaway, so we're just going to wait and see. Last time they canceled it b/c of wind.

Oh, I forgot about that, DS wants to do that. I can't make them until 75 days out anyway, so will make sure I do final payment before then.

Does anyone know if the stingray at CC usually sells out? I've heard to get the first session as the bottom gets cloudy as the day goes on.

Oh - and does anyone know the price?

It's around $35 for adults and maybe $28 for kids if I recall. We waited to book ours until we were on the ship last time b/c DD wasn't sure. We got a 2:00 time. We'll probably still wait, we're not too big into snorkeling (never done it), and I really just want to pet the rays and feed them, so whatever time we get is fine.

In other news - I just purchased our airline tickets for our return flight. I hope we can make a 12:45 flight. We will have our own car (DH and his sis are driving home) to take us to the airport, so I'm thinking if we're off the ship by 8 (like last time) we could be at the airport by 10 no problem.
Thoughts?

just called to check on our flights....we're on a earlier flight home which i'm actually not upset about! 1-1/2 hrs less time waiting in the airport after the cruise....AND sooner to begin the 2 hr drive back from the airport!

Woohoo!! Congrats! We leave in 97 days and arrive at WDW in 99 days!! It sure is nice to have something to be excited about isn't it? Next comes making dining reservations!

BUT, I just made the final payment for our trip today so I am officially allowing myself to get excited again! My son (9) is so excited. He's really hoping to meet some kids around his age to hang out with. Does anyone have any children around that age?

Welcome back - it's double digit countdown for me with our visit to WDW before the cruise!

I have son who will be almost 8 when we cruise. Since we are cruising with another family with a daughter (she and my DD are best friends), he will be excited that there will be boys there, too!
