I'm also kind of waiting for the FINAL list of participants in the FE so I know how much and for whom I need to purchase....

not that I want to exclude anyone that isn't on here already, but when is the list typically finalized?

I don't want to find a really cool item and then not have enough for everyone if more people are added. KWIM?

I am going to finalize the list November 1st. If anyone needs what we have so far, I will be happy to email it to you. Jjust let me know. Even at a month out, people who book late will still want to participate, but we have to get our list and gifts together and not wait until the last minute. So, November 1st is it!

We're also traveling with others, but no young children. I am pretty sure they will be overwhelmed enough, and not interested in the FE exchange. I'll probably tell them about it though (since I'll have a stocking hanging by my door!)
I would tell them about it and ask if it something they are interested in, b/c with young kids, they can feel bad if their cousins were to get gifts and they didn't. A 3 year old wouldn't understand why. At least then they have the option to participate. I'd probably plan on giving the kids a little gift or two anyway, or share some goodies, just to make them feel special.

Why don't you add them to your list and that way we can make sure the kids are taken care of? We can just put their gifts in your FE.

Here's an FE question - are your neice and nephew (or their room) going to do the FE? The reason I ask is that we are traveling with friends in a connecting room. I don't see them as the FE type of people but I don't want their DD to feel left out that my kids are getting gifts at the door.

Should I ask if they want to do it? what are you doing? Also - did you change rooms? I think I recall that you switched from a 6 to something else, the reason I ask is that on my FE list your room is pretty close to ours on Deck 6....

My suggestion is to ask if they want to participate. If they aren't the FE type of people and don't want to, just add their DD to your FE info and we will take care of her. We will just put her gifts in your FE. How does that sound? I hate the thought of kids being left out! Can you tell?

i have 7 extra kids....i just didn't think it was fair to do it. Plus...i'd need a HUGE FE to hold gifts for 11 people!

We have two on Deck 6.

We will all see each other because I am planning a DIS meet at 3:00 pm in the Promenade Lounge on embarkation day. It will be fun to meet everyone, but also, we can get last minute stateroom # changes and upgrades. I would sure hate to deliver FE gifts to the wrong room!

I am NOT looking forward to the stress of tomorrow mrning for making ADRs!!!

I have a room only for 12/5 linked to the land/sea for the rest of the trip, so really hoping I get a nice CM who will let me make ALL my ressies tomorrow morning.

Very excited that it's about 90 days away! I'm waiting to make my final payment until the start of my next billing cycle with my Visa. I know it's 6 months free, but why not have an extra month for that as well (my PIF date is 9/22, but I'll pay it around the 10 - 11th for the start of my next billing cycle).

OOOH - and that means more Disney Rewards Points for that month. WOO HOO!!!
