December 10, 2009 3 Night Bahamian Cruise

DMMarla--we'll need you to give us the low down on shore excursions. You'll be cruisin' anyday now. I'm jealous. Have FUN!!!

so, anyone thinking about excursions for this trip? I'm going to try and find out how excursions are on my trip in August then plan from there

We were thinking of the dolphin swim, but just can't justify that cost for the amount of time. I know it would be wonderful, but I'd rather save that amount of money and do a whole day at Discovery Cove some time.

I think we are just planning on staying onboard in Nassau - it's our first cruise and since it's only a 3 day, just want to do the whole "ship-thing". Plus, suddenly DH is wary of taking the kids into a port.

So, we'll be the ones at the pool.

I plan on staying on the ship when I go on the 27th of this month, maybe get off quick and get a shirt since I don't have one. Then in December I'll get off for a excursions maybe

What are your exact dates for Disney? I think we will be there at the same time. My upper countdown is a day late since we added a night at AKL on 12/5. My ticker on the bottom is correct. I can't wait to have the park hours released. I feel the need to PLAN!!

We'll be at Ft Wilderness from 12/5 - 12/10.

We wil be at the Poly from 12/5 - 12/10 and then the cruise. We are going from the airport to Sea World on the 5th and the other 4 days at WDW.

I've wanted to stay at the Poly since I was little - I can't wait!!!

I've always wanted to stay at Poly too. Maybe the next trip! This time we had to account for others. Next one will just be us, so I don't have to be concerned with others' preferences and all that.

Laurie - I am so jealous that you are heading there in a few days, but on the other hand, I've been there in August and dang was it hot and humid!

So I leave August, 26th which is Wednesday to go to Disney World and then August 27th Thursday in the morning I'll be driving to port and get on the Disney Wonder for my cruise this month, can't wait. I'll be posting a trip report and pictures after the trip, so keep a eye out for that
