December 10, 2009 3 Night Bahamian Cruise

We're planning to be on the cruise - $99 bounceback offer. Well, really it's just mom & dad - leaving the kids home for this one. Wonder what they'll think when they figure out what mom / dad are doing . Airfare starts to add up pretty quick and we didn't want to go too long - using it as more of a long weekend.

We've been on the Magic twice - both Eastern Carribean.

See that we'll have to update the signature sometime....

Welcome everyone - looks like a few more are joining us on the empty ship. :rotfl:

Well, I am happy to say that 8 months for today we will be at the Poly. And how exciting to know that December 5 is Walt's birthday - an even happier celebration.

Hoping to meet a few more travelers soon...and I'm jealous of the $99 bounceback offer!!!

Can't wait till tomorrow to see if this is one of the cruises for the $99 bounceback offer because I know some cruises won't be and some will be, I'm writing a trip report of my back-to-back cruise so if anyone wants to go read it let me know what you think:goodvibes

Love reading trip reports!!!!Gives me an idea of what to expect!!Good luck with BB offer!

it was if you had a 4 or 7 day cruise booked in a time frame. and cruise during certain weeks and since we did a b2b during that time we got this offer, but we did book this cruise onboard maybe someone else can explain to you how the bounceback offer is, sorry I can't explain anything I am so bad explaining to people:lmao:

Hi everyone,

Thanks to the bounceback offer, it looks like we will also be joining you. :) We were able to book it this morning. It will be me, DH, DS15 and DD11 (at sail time).

DMMarla, you explained it right. :) Bounceback is an offer extended to people who sailed DCL on certain dates in February and March of this year on a 4 or 7 day cruise. The offer is for a 3 night cruise in the fall (mid-August to mid-December) in the same category you booked for the original cruise (except suites) for $99 per person plus taxes and fees of approx. $35 pp. You received a voucher on the original cruise which must be mailed in after booking; today was the first day to officially book the offer.

We would be up for FE's as well, on our 7 day we did not do them, so we'd be happy to try if this group decides to.

We would not normally book during December, so we are really looking forward to seeing the ship and island decorated for the holidays!

I had booked December 3rd for my bounceback offer, but that date is a blackout. My TA is currently trying to book this one for me. I will let you guys know. I just returned from the Magic this past Saturday and coordinated our FE exchange. That was our 3rd time on the Magic and we've been on the Wonder once. So, we'll see if I can get this date.

We were on the Feb 15-19 Wonder and just booked this cruise on the bounce back offer too. February was our first ever cruise and we had such a great time we could hardly wait to go back. We had a great time with the Fish Extenders and had a large group participating so we are game for it again. We did the land sea at the Poly and it was absolutely wonderful.

Right now we have 2 cabins and may be adding a 3rd. I thought it was a terrific opportunity to combine a cruise with seeing the holiday decorations at DisneyWorld. Not sure where we will stay at WDW yet. The Poly was a splurge and we can't swing it twice in one year so we're thinking of renting DVC points. I am really excited at getting the opportunity to go back so soon.

Looking forward to meeting you all over the next few months.

O.k. Got it. It will be me, DH, DS (14), and my parents in 2 cabins. We are trying to get my brother's family to book as well.

So, who is coordinating the FE exchange?

Hi everyone! I'm another person that was originally scheduled to go on the 12/3 cruise but changed it to 12/10 when I learned that our original date was blacked out for the bounceback offer.

I also see a few people that were on our cruise last month to St. Croix, I didn't get to meet many people on board because my husband is kind of antisocial unfortunately! Anyway, this will be our 8th Disney cruise, our fifth on the Wonder. I have a DD who is 6 and a DS who will be 4 by the time we sail. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on the thread. :goodvibes

I've been enjoying your TR, it brings back a lot of great memories! That is great that you can go back for your birthday again.

I just confirmed our reservations with the bounceback offer through DCL for 12/10. We are very excited.

The person I spoke with indicated that there were only a few blackout dates for this offer but that each cruise has a limited number of rooms allotted to the offer. The 12/10 date still has rooms available but as of 3PM this afternoon, 5 of the dates were no longer available.

We're confirmed for the bounceback too! :yay::banana::woohoo::dance3: :cheer2:

Sorry, I tend to get carried away at times. :teeth:
