We just finished!! It is paid for!! Woo Hoo!! I would like a roomy ship also!! We will be in Disney after the cruise...so we should still be able to see it as it goes up if it is a clear day. In tampa we can sometimes see it going up and we hear the sonic boom when they are coming back to earth.


So how many of you are going to add signs to your doors?????

I paid ours off a few weeks ago, it was an exciting moment!

I was thinking about signs but not sure if I want some strangers to see pics of my kids or their names, etc that kind of weirds me out.
If I do one without personal info though I worry it will get stolen.
Anyone else?

Does thrifty have a location in the port area? We are renting a van from MCO to WDW then WDW to port then port back to MCO for our stay. It was about $180, but I'd rather have a car for the whole time.

We're (DW and myself) booked for this cruise (our first ever!) - can't wait.

Staying at SSR for a week, followed by POFQ for a week, then the cruise, then back to SSR for 3 more days and then home - with the cost of flights from the UK, it makes sense for us to go on holiday for a long time!

WE ARE GOING TO THE POLYNESIAN ON THE 6TH OF DECEMBER AND THE CRUISE ON THE 10TH. I AM NEW TO THE DIS BOARDS, AND I REALLY ENJOY THEM. I HAD PUT A POST ON YESTERDAY BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT UNDER THE RIGHT TITLE!!!! OH WELL. WE WILL BE CELEBRATING OUR 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AND MY HUSBANDS 41ST BIRTHDAY. WE HAVE BEEN TO DISNEY 4 OTHER TIMES, BUT WOULD REALLY LIKE TO MAKE THE CRUISE EXTRA SPECIAL. DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT ANY SPECIAL PACKAGES? OR SURPRISES. AFTER 20 YEARS I AM STILL SMITTEN AS IF WE WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON. ENOUGH ABOUT US (40 AND 38) WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DD THAT WILL BE ELEVEN. WE ALSO HAVE A STRAPPING BOY THAT WILL BE 9 (2 WEEKS BEFORE HIS TENTH BIRTHDAY WHEN WE GO). THIS WILL BE THEIR FIRST CRUISE. WE HAVE BEEN ON ONE CARNIVAL CRUISE GIVEN TO US BY OUR BEST FRIEND FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY AND CHRISTMAS. OUR ANNIVERSARY IS ACTUALLY AUGUST 22 BUT WE LOVE DISNEY IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON. THE CHILDREN HELP ME PULL THIS OFF SINCE WE WENT LAST YEAR. THIS WILL BE OUR GIFT TO EACH OTHER. WHAT BETTER WAY TO CELEBRATE THAN WITH YOUR KIDS AT DISNEY AT CHRISTMAS.

I booked a room on property. I did some homework and figured out it is only $15 difference to get a room at Atlantis over Comfort Suites and Atlantis allows 5 in a room in certain rooms (which suited us better). Basically from what I understand by renting a room you get a wristband that allows full access to all of the water slides, pools, beach, museum, aquarium, etc. I looked at the excursions, and this is about the same price as taking everyone snorkeling but we get alot more included. The excursion to Atlantis doesn't give you access to the pools, slides and such. Basically it is a tour of the aquarium and hotel without use of the facilities. Staying at Comfort Suites you get the same wristbands and access, the only difference is that the hotel is located across the parking lot from all of the slides & everything. I figured it was worth the extra $15 to be closer. also Atlantis' cancellation policy was shorter than CS-so if the weather is bad we can cancel closer to the day.

I DID THE SAME. OUR TRAVEL AGENT BOOKED US A ROOM. I CALLED JUST TO GET THE DETAILS FOR MYSELF AND THE LADY AT ATLANTIS SAID TO JUST ASK FOR THE ROOM ONLY RATE. SHE HAD ALSO BEEN ON A DISNEY CRUISE AND SAID TO SAVE THE EXCURSIONS FOR CASTAWAY CAY. IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH IT IS THE BEST DEAL OF THE DAY. ALSO, WE WENT TO NASSAU IN JUNE AND I DONT WANT MY DD11 AND DS9 IN THE STRAW MARKET AREA BECAUSE OF THE TOUCHY FEELY SALESPEOPLE AND DIRTINESS. ATLANTIS.............HERE WE COME

It looks like Minnie has kids about the same age as some of ours - though I think he is the first boy over 6!

We should plan something for the Sail Away Party at least. And for those of us at the Poly and on site, we should make some sort of plans. I think that Andrea and I are planning Downtown Disney the same night (at least as of now!)
