December 10-12th trip-- need some advice--

My sister and I are taking my 4 year old daughter down for a quick weekend trip-- we are about 4 hours away-- we will get there by 10am Friday morning and will leave Sunday afternoon---

Here is my question-- we love to do the Magic Kingdom because my daughter loves it and quite frankly there is more for her to do there --- than the other parks--- how will MVMCP affect us-- what times should we avoid the Magic Kingdom? An y advice or suggestions are appreciated--

MVMCP starts at 7:00am so that means the park will start closing at 6:00.

So the parks get crowded that day AFTER 6 on friday? is that correct?

Magic Kingdom will close on Friday at 6pm and on Sunday at 6pm. If you don't have a ticket to MVMCP, you will have to leave at that point. The party doesn't begin until 7pm. On Saturday, it's open until midnight with 2 showings of the Spectromagic parade. I don't think you'll have to avoid the park on Friday and you might want to plan on arriving early morning on Saturday. You'll get a lot accomplished in those first few hours. If you're planning on viewing the fireworks and Spectro parade, I'd leave for a few hours in the afternoon. I would imagine that from 4pm on, the park is going to get more and more crowded. (There aren't any fireworks during the normal park operating hours on Friday & Sunday due to MVMCP.)
