Hi everyone! My family booked this cruise while we were on our last one (April 2010, Wonder to the Mexican Riviera) and I'm so excited that we are less than a year away now!
My family is myself, DH, DS (10), and DD (7). We're Disney freaks and pass holders to Disneyland (live in So Cal).
I would love to be involved in a fish extender group if that is happening and I'm also on FB if that is being set up.

Hi everyone. Just curious how far in advance do you book your airfare? What hotel do you stay in at Port Canaveral?

We are going to use points to buy our airfare and I'm worried all reward travel tickets will be taken at the same time I want the flexibility to change dates if we need to...

We'll book airfare when I see a seat sale after I pay off my interim cruise. In Port Canaveral, we stay at the Radisson. They have a really nice pool, and there are some good restaurants surrounding them. They are also only 5 minutes from port. They have a free shuttle, but we took a cab anyway, since it wasn't that much more, and we didn't have to wait.

I generally book early as I tend to think airfare does nothing but go up. I don't have much airline selection here, we generally fly Delta and if we return 12/08 - those are not out yet. Since I am clueless what we are going to do before the cruise (fly Friday or earlier), I am just going to wait and ponder on it.

I have only stayed in PC one time a long time ago and we stayed at the Raddison. We tend to stay at WDW the night before and will probably take the bus again this time.

Hello!

We are flying in the Day before right now. May be Thursday not friday can't decide. We are staying at WDW at SSR with points. We are then taking a limo with friends to the port. I will start to look for air when it comes out. We fly southwest and air is not out yet.

Well, we've had a change in plans and will not be on this cruise We've had to change to a September cruise on the Wonder along the west coast...same boat we were on before but at least it will be like coming home again! Sorry that we can't see the Fantasy (yet!) and the Carribean but there's always next year, right?

We are sailing on the Wonder September 23rd for DH's birthday (it was going to be a surprise but I couldn't stand it and told him). I am looking forward to the itinerary.

Wow this is a little over the top to be posted on an open forum. Maybe you should handle via Private Message to work things out. I am sure everyone wants the same thing. A Fun & Friendly Cruise with New Friends ................... and a Fish Extender Activity....................

That's what I thought people wanted too but apparently not this chick who took it out from under me because she was way better at it then myself. I was happy and content until this chick came along and insulted my ability to organize the FE activity. So now she'll do it. So be it!

The only reason I feel I had to make it public is because I needed to let people know that what they sent me is no longer valid because this other person was taking over.

I will admit I wasn't as nice as I could be about it. But I'm ticked as heck that someone had the audacity to insult my abilities and take this planning out from under me, especially when the cruise is still almost a year away. I have only had 5 or 6 people sign up so I really didn't think there was a whole heck of a lot to do yet. I don't really care about the planning. I was hoping that I could meet people through the planning of it though. And now it seems like that won't happen. Thanks to this chick... who I still don't remember her name... You will all probably know as soon as she starts her FE planning.

You missed the point entirely .............. I would have tried to work it out via PRIVATE Message and no I would not air my frustrations on this thread. Your reference to "this Chick" is very insulting and just throwing more logs on to the fire.
A simple I am not doing the FE would have been enough, as I was not aware you were doing the FE as there has been very little posts to that effect.

I assure you that no respond to this post is needed just to take another cheap shot at someone you do not even know their name.
