Okay folks, we have the GREEN MICKEY EARS. ONe problem though, we have the green forest. It seems that everyone in CR has the LIme Green Mickey Ears. Showing DH this website for the first time with DisneyFanaticsRUs DW and DD and DH. This DH just packed today, NO PROBLEM says he

2 HOURS OF planning and we're just on the boat. Now, the next 2 hours we hoping to get Key West planned, finishing up by Thanksgiving Dinner.

I thought wenevergrowup, beat us to the green mickey heads at home depot here in Cedar Rapids, we checked Thursday night. Guess not, got dark green ones too. Can't wait till our DIS meet to meet everyone.

Our excursions are the same. Still working on something for Nassau considering Atlantis. We will be at Universal the Thursday, and Friday before the Cruise, and back at Disney 2 nights after the cruise.

Hello to all.

I just wanted to say "HI". I am cruising along with all of you on the third. Our travel party includes: myself, two daughters (5 and 7) and my husband. We are still working out all of the excursion, if I ever get all of that done I will post that too. I have been trying to get all of the information that I will need and have definitely got a lot of information on this website. So does any one have any girls around the ages of my mine? They would love to find so kids to hang out with so they don't feel so overhelmed on the first day.

I think we will come to the Disboard meeting I read about if there is room for a really late addition to the group.

I have a daughter, Ryleigh 6 she would love to have more friends!

If you read back a few pages many of us have posted what excursions we will be doing, our room numbers, also we posted who will be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on December 1st. Popovich (Diane) and I will be meeting at MVMCP we both have reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern for a character dinner that evening so we are excited to meet before we get on the ship!

There are a bunch of us that are renting a room at Atlantis, by doing this you have full access to the resort on Nassau.

If you have any questions just throw them out here. I have never cruised before and I have to say any question I have posted has been answered. We have a great board and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly! Welcome again!

If not, be sure to look around for others wearing them the first day. (I sent you an email with this info too in case you don’t get back to read these posts).

Wenevergrowup - what time is that dinner??? I’ll be there!!! Save me a seat. You showed DH the DIS site? Does he think you’re crazy? My DH did last year, but after meeting a bunch of great people he knew it was all worth it.

Disney Fanatics R Us - At Key West we will probably just hang around. At Grand Cayman we planned to hit a beach on our own- not through any tour- probably Seven Mile Beach. We are planning to review all that with the others we are sailing with next week... so stand by ... it could change

Disney R US - on our own, to do the Aquarium at Key West. We booked through Disney one of the Grand Cayman Island tour with Rays. Booked on our own a dolphin swim (DD12, DD8, Me) and a Dolphin Encounter (DH & DD6).

Hannosmom - tour in Grand Cayman. KW - we're just going to bum around, Nassau - Atlantis

Macphrsn - KW: the trolley tour on our own. Then we are going to go to Southernmost Point, the Hemingway House and the Butterfly Farm. GC - Grand Cayman - Island Tour and Stingray City. Nassau - Atlantis Resort. CC - Beach

Dinner was great. DD to DisneyFanaticsRUs loved the virgin Pina Colada. Now shes in training too! It took us forever to decide on side trips and after all the talk, we think we've come up with a plan.

NEED HELP. We have a few of us who do not want to snorkle at Sting Ray City on the 7 smile catamaran trip, from our reading, sounds like deeper water. Rather do the sand bar trip (if what we're reading in books is correct) Can someone advise if we will have time to do any beach after the trip? We up in the air as to transportation with Disney, leaving right after our snorkling experience etc. Our thought process is that at Castaway Cay, if we want a little deeper water, those comfortable can venture there. We have a DH that is concerned (mild use of words) about getting transportation back to the boat. ANY advise here from someone, please advise.

Other than that, we are getting mildly excited. Kids are off school this week, full week the following and then off a week. For all the northern cruiser, lets hope weather holds out until we are in the air heading south.

I am with you wenevergrowup on the weather in the North staying good enough for us all to catch our flights out. We are flying the day before so hopefully that will still get us to our destination in time. SOOOO looking forward to the warmer weather!

On Atlantis, friends of mine that just got back said that you can walk around various parts of the resort but you can't get anywhere near the pools and beach access is restricted. If you book the excursion through Disney then you will get a private area of the beach...but no pool area and from the photos that's really cool. You can, however, on your own, pay to see the Dig, but if you dealing with a group of people that too will be expensive.

So, how was the new Posieden Adventure? I am showing my age, but DH and I went to see the original in the theater as newlyweds. Loved it! The swimming underwater part was harrowing; I remember lots of the audience (including me) taking deep breaths before the characters all plunged into the water.

This just gives us incentive to pay attention during the Safety Drill!

We are expecting a big snow storm this week here in the North. Let's pray we all get out of here without a hitch.

Sorry to all the pen-pals we haven't written to. The kids have been wanting to write. Our computer is up in our attic and I just haven't gotten up there to go on the web with them. The kids can't wait to meet everyone. We plan on being at the 3:00 meet.

Glad you joined our group!!! Hope to meet you at the Dismeet on Saturday! DisneygirlsX2, DH and I have a 6 yr old DS and our DD just turned 8 in Sept. They are looking forward to meeting pals on board . Send me an email at gmpopovich@sbcglobal.net if your kids would like to have a pen pal before the cruise. DH and I are out of town today, but will be back home tomorrow.

Is anyone thinking of taking their kids to the club the first day/evening? I remember last year that that's when alot of bonds were made - everyone is new . They did such fun activities in the club. Matt still sleeps with the pillowcase he decorated at the peter pan/capt hook pj party!!

Eeeks, I haven't done anything with my lime green Mickey's that I "picked up" at Home Depot. Didn't someone on our thread post directions to printing a larger version and how to put names on them???? This was awhile ago, so maybe my memory is fuzzy......

Wenevergrowup dinner sounded so yummy, sorry I missed it!! My DH thought I was nuts last year too! But, after he met our group at the dismeet and saw what a difference it made for the kids to have a ready made circle of friends, he was so glad I had done it. We went to the pool and found friends to sit with, met as a group for the shows, it really was so worth the investment of time to meet such great people!
