We'll be at WDW from 12/27/03 to 01/17/04--about 3 glorious weeks! I know nobody can tell me what the weather will be for certain, but given the fact that we'll be there that long, what do you think the chances are that we'll get at least a few days of good swimming weather? (As in daytime temps at least 80F--I don't enjoy pools in cooler weather). Need to decide on whether to get AP's or PAP's, so trying to determine if we'll be able to utilize the WP's on this trip.

Thanks!

Sue

Last year around that time it was pretty cool. Most days when we went to WDW we wore pants and had sweatshirts with us. And in January some nights it dropped into the 30's. But it was also the 3rd coldest ever in Florida. Are you getting your passes before you get here? I would suggest waiting until close to your vacation and then keep an eye on the weather report.

We were there during that time in 2002. The weather was perfect for the parks but I thought it was a little cool for swimming. DS begged all week to go swimming and I held him off to near the end of the week. I did not want him to get chilled and be sick the rest of the week. He got in one or two afternoons and while the water was warm, the air was pretty cool on getting out. There were people swimming all hours of the day and night. We were on site where all the pools are heated. We are going this year in early DEc. and hopping for a little warmer weather to do a water park. I would think that you might get at least a few days that you could swim if you are not to chill sensitive!!!1

We've been New Years week for the last three years and haven't even worn shorts, muchless swim! The nights were downright freezing, needed coats, hats and gloves. I would think that over 3 weeks, you should get days in the 70's or near 80. The pools are heated, but still not that warm and then it's freezing when you get out in 40 degree air! Nevertheless, we saw tons of kids swimming all hours, even at night when you could see your breath in the air. Guess it too depends on your tolerance for cold. We are Southerners and don't swim unless it's 80 degrees out and sunny!
