Dec 7th - Join as my "Wish" comes true!

I would like to invite you to share a special moment December 7th -- share my Wish come true with "Wishes" at MVMCP.

You see, last year in early December I saw "Wishes" for the first time - only days after I discovered a dear friend had cancer. Her prognosis was grave but she insisted I take my trip (one of many I take to WDW throughout the year).

My first night at WDW, and her first night of chemo, I saw "Wishes". With tears streaming down my face my only wish was to bring Joan to the "happiest place on earth" and share "Wishes" with her.

Against every doctors prediction, she is winning her battle and this week we made our reservations for Dec 7th - 14th at the Beach Club.! One more stem-cell transplant and she will be finished with treatments - we hope.

She has taught me so much about courage, faith and hope and my gift to her will be a week of Magic in the Land of Magic. What better time than Christmas!

Don't believe in the Magic of Disney or the ability for dreams to come true? Join Joan and I December 7th and watch "Wishes" with us.

I will keep in touch with everyone and hope you can stop by and say hello to this truly special lady.

I think I'm going to MVMCP that night, so I will plan on meeting you and Joan! I was there the second or third time you saw Wishes, so I think I should be there for this

For your countdown, stop on the Tech Board and look for a thread near the top from J Cricket. It will walk you through setting one up. And if you get stuck there, just call for help, many there to help you get set up.

You know it will be a pleasue to have you join us.....after all, you personally suffered through my tears of sadness last December watching Wishes. I was at WDW in April and there were tears of hope....by December this year there will be tears of Joy!

Karen knows my favorite place to watch......at the head of Main Street, on the left side corner of the circle.

Joan and I will be there....I'll be the short blonde with tears streaming down my face.

Hello All!

First, thank you to everyone who has sent good wishes for Joan and myself. I look forward to meeting everyone and will miss those who cannot join us December 7th for WISHES at MVMCP.

Now....I have a bit of happy news to share with everyone.

Joan's second stem-cell transplant has been cancelled.....yes, she is officially now in remission!

At the moment I cannot pass along all your congratulations because she is off visiting her new grandbabies and simply .... doing all those things she had "put off for a better time". There is a lesson there for those who are wise enough to listen.

We are planning a fun-filled week at WDW in December and look forward to meeting anyone who can join us December 7th.

Joan has only been an occassional "day guest" at WDW so I plan a week which will far exceed her imagination!

I will keep in touch and thank you all again for the prayers and warm thoughts.

Hey Towncrier, Cathy and everyone else...

I have some bad news... We have been tossing around the idea of should we go/not go to Disney this December.... Well, to be honest, it's not feasible for us at this time... We missed last year because we moved to a new home around that time and I really wanted to go this year.... Hate to say it --- but we are canceling our trip.... putting the points towards a different trip I guess in May.... not sure if we are going to do Disney Hilton Head or go back to Orlando.....

But --- we will definitely no doubt about it make a point to be there next year....

I am going to miss you guys!..... Towncrier --- another year without you!.....

I was hoping to see all of you again too!... It feels like a lifetime ago!.... Well, actually it will be 2 years I haven't seen you guys!... Meghan is such a big girl now and Thomas is getting so big!... I have to send you guys a picture.

I have to put my points now towards another trip... Have to use them by May --- not sure what we are going to do yet.

But, hopefully you will all be there next year and we can definitely get together..... (Hopefully John won't get sick this time)
