Are you crusing on the Dec 7? We have a group of 15 that we have split into 2 groups. We had a deadline for joining of Nov 7, but I was just going to send out the final list, so if you want to join please PM me your cabin number and the make up of your cabin ( example 2 adults and 2 kids 3 and 2 years old) and I will add you to the list. Trying to keep the exchange very simple, each cabin is to deliver a gift to the cabins in their group any time during the first 3 days of the cruise. It is up to the individual if they do one gift per cabin or a gift per person.

So I finally got a cabin #, no upgrades for me but that is a good thing. I have decided that we will do DCL in March and I really wanted to check out a Cat 12 as I may downgrade the March criuse, if I think it will be ok for me and the girls for a 7 day cruise.

I guess my upgrade luck has run out. I have been so lucky this year I have gotten upgraded from garden view to a perfect castle view at the Poly, Standard room at the AKL to a savannah, view, Cat 12 to a Cat 9, last March on the Magic and my best, garden view at the Grand Floridian to Club Level main building, so I had a feeling I would be staying in a CAT 12. It was great while it lasted.

I will send out the final fish extender list tomorrow.

I'm with you! I'm so excited!! I really need this vacation. Things have been really nutty for us lately. Between work, and this being a hard time of year for me. Plus my dad has been sick and had to have surgery. So it's just been rough all the way around. I CAN'T WAIT! I feel like I have a million things to do!

I have FINALLY updated my first post to include eveyone--sorry that it has taken me so long to do this. Please let me know if I have left anyone out or if I made a mistake.

Lisa- I did get the fish extender list. I just have a few more things to buy. It should be lots of fun!!!!!: A big thank you again : for organizing this for us.

When we meet at the drink station on Sunday--do we want to wear lime green (the Dis color) to let everyone know that you are from the Dis boards. I know a few of us did that on my last cruise....not everyone I am sure has lime green--but maybe green in general would be helpful too. What does evreyone think?

How about a lime green wristband? I saw some on ebay today. Or maybe a lime green sticker that you could where on your clothing? We could each make them on standard pc at home.

My best friend Stephanie (who is Steffy on the DIS) and I are from Pa. We are the same age and think we are twins!!!!!. We usually post on the DISigns thread DDA. I also post on the Pal Mickey and friends when I have pictures of my PM in new clothing.

so as we were talking about the cruise and going to disney my daughter started to talk about getting her hair done. she got a hair wrap last time we were in WDW and now she is OBSESSED with getting one. Anyone know if you can do this on the ship?

Ya know Vicki I'm gonna call them this morning because time is winding down and I feel I should have gotten my cruise tags by now. I got my ME tags 3 or 4 weeks ago.

I think in Nassau your daughter can have her hair wrapped. Just be careful cause ppl on the island are pushy I've been told numerous times and will charge you a fortune for little cornrows and beads and hair wraps. It's funny how Monday my hairdresser and I were talking about his very thing and how she felt bad for ppl who were scammed out of money on this type of thing. My hairdresser said on her next cruise she's taking supplies and will do this out of her room. I told her I should post a sign on my door to do this......JK, It's crazy what ppl will pay for that. Just be careful and if the price is within reason for you then go for it.

Are you going to Disney before the cruise? I know they have someone that does hair braiding by the pool at the Wilderness hotel. I'm not sure if they have it at Castaway Cay? If you decide to get ti done in Nassau...I suggested taking your own comb with you and insisting that they use it to braid her hair.

As you can see we are preparing our daughter for meeting the characters.

We haven't received our cruise docs yet either but we did checkin on-line.

I've been busy planning Emily's Christening this Sunday but on Monday I will be back in full cruise planning mode!

None of use own anything lime green but I will print some stickers, that's a great idea! And we will be wearing out Mousefest lanyards.

I'm so excited they have photopass on the ships now. I'll probably be spending half the cruise in-line getting photos of Emily with the all the characters.

I would think that the documents were mailed out Monday when I got my cabin assignment so I am sure we will be receiving them shortly.

I know what you mean. We've been to Nassau many times and after the second visit, I told me husband that if I hear, "Lady, braid your hair?" one more time I was going back to the ship! I tried to be nice at first and say "No, thank you" but after the fifth time, I just starting ignoring them.
The last few times, I've worn a hat with my hair tucked up underneath the hat.
But this time we are only getting off the ship to have Emily's passport stamped and then we are spending the rest of the day on the ship.
