Meeting up with everyone will be great.
Around 3:00 at one of the pools sounds good for us.
Can't help with a location ..... we'll be the ones walking around with a map!

May I make another suggestion? I won't be arrivng at the port until about 1pm (I think) I'm taking the DCL motorcoach from my resort. That will put me there too late for an early meet. Maybe we can meet up either before the sail away party or right before dinner? I really don't know, just thinking out loud.

I have only been one one cruise, but the sail away party is crazy busy, and it would be hard to find people. Also the Muster drill takes longer for some sections than others. We wasted no time after the muster drill getting to the sail away party and we missed most of it, I guess we were in a slow section.

It is hard picking a time on a short cruise, as the first day is hectic, that it would be nice to meet on the second day, but by then the cruise is 1/4 over already, and everyone will be rushing to go to Nassau.

I think 3:00 is the best bet.

Maybe we could meet at 3:00 by the drink station area up on deck 9--that way we are by the Mickey pool as well as by the toddler pool. Just an idea......

The weather is really starting to cool down here in Wisconsin and I am getting so ready for a cruise .

I saw this today. 4 days is going to be just too short to do everything that I want.

I almost decided to bring my girls. Southwest had a 50% off sale for flights from Buffalo yesterday so it was really cheap, and my husband said it would be ok to take the girls out of school, but I decided not too . My husband so nicely reminded me that this was my get away trip that I have been looking forward to so much, and that I really need a break from all the work and craziness that is our lives these days. I am taking them in March, but it would have been fun to have them also, they would love all the Christmas decorations.

I just so want to go, but I am sure it will be here soon enough.

Have a great weekend. My youngest daughter turns 6 this weekend so we are having her birthday party and of course they must go and see the new High School Musical movie.

It should be fun, 12 little kids mini golfing hopefully no one gets hurt.

O/T but does anyone else feel that it would be nice to have kids birthday parties without presents? I know my girls love getting presents but they get so much I would love to say no presents just come and have fun.

Lisa, my boys have too much "stuff" too and this past year my ds11 opted to have his friends make a small donation to the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology center, where he had been a patient this year. He thought of the idea all by himself and we were happy to oblige. When he was turning 7 we asked for "no presents" and every one except for 1 person still brought gifts. If you go that route, you can always ask for a donation of some sort for the people that still feel compelled to give something. One of my friends is having a party tomorrow and asked us to bring food for needy families instead of gifts which I thought was a really nice idea. We do let the boys 2 sets of grandparents and 2 aunts/uncles give them gifts.

Only 39 days till we fly down.
It looks like I can put the summer stuff away for sure now. Time to find the tuques and mittens and get them out. We have a winter storm warning here for tonight and tomorrow they are calling for over 15cm of snow. We are going to be so ready for some warm weather by December.

The girls are home from school today. Not a snow day the storm wasn't to bad but the village that their school is in had no power because of falling trees.
