Okay, so after reading bunches of posts and threads I decided with my DD (13) that I should make one also. Only 12 days to go. Trying to stay calm and not think about the trip too much because I get to excited. I try and think of other things. So close yet so far away. Don't want to start packing yet, too early and everything will get wrinkled. So let me ask...how close to the trip do you start packing?
My DD (5) is excited, yet again so close yet so far. To her 12 days is 12 years. She just started school this year.
So sad not to have her with me all day. She goes to Montessori school so I can send her a couple days half day. Public schools went full day...
which I think is horrible. In my opinion they are still so young.
My other DD (13) is excited also. She wants to Everst this time but th protective Mom I am, am scared to let her go on. She is thin for her age and I am afraid she will lift out of the seat. Same with tower of terror.
Don't want her on those!! Okay so she is still my baby also. Wish she could be home also all the time. But she is so smart and I could never homeschool due to the fact I could not keep up, LOL.
Now finally my DH (32) he is pretty excited, atleast I think so. Poor man works so hard and is so tired that showing his excitment is rough. But when we talk about the trip it shows.
My mother and her husband are also going and in addition my sister and her famil is going by chance. She was suppose to go in August but fell and broke her arm a week before their trip and needed surgery and rehab but now is better and ready to go. Shout out to you..Helen, glad you are going with us!
So as we begin our journey to the countdown of our trip our Christmas lights will go up and holiday shopping will begin and I will wonder to disney half broke. LOL But over the years we have gone around this time I find it all worth while. Thanks for listening and hopefully will have more to report.
