Dec 5, 2010 ~ 4 nights on the Wonder!

I love the idea of a meet! I'm still trying to get everything ready!:scared1:

I don't even know where to begin to get shirts made.......but on the upside I did just get a new camera!:cool1:

How are everyone else's plans going?
Still plenty of time to get ready. So take a deep breath and count to 10. Feel better?:thumbsup2Congrats on the new camera. I'm wondering if I need to get one. I dropped mine twice at Universal in '08 in the pouring rain that was called Fay! My DD's little Kodak is taking much better pictures than mine used to.:sad2:

As far as shirts go, go over to the Creative DISigns thread and start searching. There's a lot of talented DISigner's there including myself:lmao:. You 'll find all kinds of things. If it's ok, I'm going to post a couple of new cruise designs I just finished this weekend, here. Plus my design thread is in my signature. If we had a title to this cruise I could do more but now just generics will have to do.

Our plans are moving along. I'm getting tickets for the Auto Train this weekend. I'm tired of driving all the way down the coast though I do love it. But this vacation is so extended that we'll actually save money by taking the train...and don't ask about flying as I do not fly....ever.:goodvibes

As far as a meet...time and place.:woohoo:

I like the Autotrain, my husband prefers to drive. Maybe I can talk him into Autotrain on the way home, because the overnight drive down is fine, coming home over two days, not too good.

I just booked two nights pre-cruise at Wilderness Lodge, because we have to save our DVC points, we're staying in the actual lodge in a deluxe room. Very excited.

Anyone planning MVMCP on Friday 12/3?

Julie

I do love the drive but the last 2 out of 3 trips my DH's back went out.:sad2:In 04 it happened at the beginning of a 10 day vacation in Orlando and in 06 the last day of our vacation. He suffered either way. Last trip in 08 we added a 3rd night before we arrived at the world and it paid off. But by the time you add in hotels (3) meals, souvineers and attractions, ie: Medieval Times in Myrtle Beach, so much in St Augustine:rolleyes1...well we will actually save money by taking the train and we're planning on a bedroom if not 2 roomettes. Hopefully this will save my poor DH's back. I don't want him to have to go through that again.
We are going to Disney after the cruise, so I have tickets for MVMCP on Dec 9th. A full day at MK with a long break before the party starts and on a weekday so hopefully not so crowded.:woohoo:

We are doing a 7 night stay and the NFFC convention starting the day we disembark! We have done MVMCP and MNSSHP several times before so we will skip that. Time is going SLOW!!!! 3 more weeks until we book ADR's and the dxddp!!!! Eating at restaurants we wouldn't go to this time should be fun and quite interesting!

Looks like we have the save ADR window. We're on the dxddp also. We've never tried it but thought it would be a great way to eat at some signature restaurants. A great way to celebrate our 21st anniversary.

I did book the Auto Train. Got a bedroom for the way down and coach for the way home but DH would like to upgrade to a bedroom on the way back. He's putting in some extra hours to make sure this happens.:woohoo:I've made some new t-shirt and magnet designs that I plan to share with everyone on this cruise. I'll post soon. Happy planning.:goodvibes

We decided to drive, and to add an extra day at Disney.

I'm thinking of magnets, something Christmas/Disney. No ideas yet, but it's early. I'll probably wait until the last minute like always.

Have a good weekend, everybody.

I got a call a few days ago but have been so swamped at work all I could do is work....so now I'm posting! NFFC in Fla. appears to have lost its leadership and there is no Convention coming in Dec.!:sad2: We were so looking forward to some fun other than the typical come to the parks and ride rides and see shows kind of adventure we always get when attending a convention! :confused:Oh well the cruise will be a switch for us....and:idea: maybe we will venture off and go see Harry Potter!!!

Sorry that didn't work out for you.:sad2:We're ending our vaction with a couple of days at Universal. I booked the Royal Pacific as I swore I would never stay at the Portofino again.:mad:We got the special HP package with breakfast at the Three Broomsticks and a Commemorative Ticket. Looking forward to it and hopefully all the bugs will be worked out by Dec.:yay:

so are the dates out for MVMCP? Because I was thinking of going but not sure if I want to do right after the cruise or wait till we get closer to Christmas...last year we went on the last day of MVMCP and spent the rest of the week there it was totatlly awesome.

so far I think I have all the disigns I want for tshirts...magnets (Shadow I'llbe right there with you on OVERKILL!!) I have alot of ideas.

So I'm just buying little things here and there..I'm waiting for the Disney store to really put their summer stuff on sale sale...checking ebay on alot of stuff. I'm really into like dressing up...so I got some ideas fo rmyself and my kids.

In August I'll be buying our PIrate costumes...I already know which ones to get :)

and we'll be paying for our cruise in September..unfortunately I am spending alot of money now that I'm on LEAVE :) I mean I already went to ANimal Kingdom, and I plan on DHS next week, then we'll be doing MK & Seaworld the week after and then its back to Work and expired AP pass..... :( its really depressing me but I told myself I will wait till April 2011 to get passes again.

Hi there, dates are out for MVMCP. I got my tickets on April 29th. We are going the first night after the cruise. It's a Thursday so it shouldn't be too crowded. Last time we went on a Saturday and it was shoulder to shoulder, real crowded. Of course all being adults we are opting for the second parade and will be a little late coming from our Anniversary dinner at Narcoossee's. But the night will still be long and fun.:woohoo:

Hi Linda! Congrats on the anniv.! We have been to both night time holiday parties and enjoy them but decided to do something different this time. I've never been to Jellyrolls and my DGF has never been to see Yeeha Bob so we are going to do that on 2 different nights. My friend thinks Bob might be a bit too cheesy for her taste but I adored him as much as the kids did! Enjoy your night there! We plan to be at Jellyrolls that night for sure!

Well this isn't exactly cruise related but we are staying at the Contemporary Resort for 4 nights after the cruise. This morning I completed all my ADR's and got everything I wanted. Disney's new online booking system is awesome. It let me book 190 days out. So that part is now behind me. What to do next?:goodvibes:banana:

Sounds great! Congrats on getting them.

We're waiting to hear from IPO since we booked club level, and are letting them do it. It's a hard thing for someone like me who is so compulsive about vacation plans- at least Disney plans. I dragged the two big kids to Morocco with hardly a clue as to what we'd be doing.

I'm going to try and do the tiedyed Mickey heads in green and red. I tried doing it before, and they didn't work out too well.

As promised earlier here are a few cruise designs that I wanted to post. All can be customized anyway you like. Just wanted to share a few of my favorites with my fellow ship mates.:goodvibes
Linda

As you probably can tell my favorite character is Tink but any character can be used.:goodvibes

Guess I'm going to go get my spreadsheet and try I was going to book Sat. AM!!! Wish me luck!!!

The designs look great. I still haven't done anything. Now that school is officially over for our youngest, maybe I'll get some things done.

Disney sent me a new password and now it wont recognize it!!! So guess I'll have to wait til Sat. for my 180 day mark! hope I can still get what I want knowing others are using the online system!!!! waaaaaaaaaaaa!!! lol:mad:

Passwords can be such a pain. I'm sorry about your ADR's. I'm sending some pixie's your way and hope that you will get everything you want.pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:
