ALL I DID WAS GO TO MY RESERVATION ABOUT 2 HOURS AGO, AND LOOKED UP ACTIVITIES UNDER DINING. SURPRISINLY PALOS WAS IN DARK SO I CHECKED AVAILABILITY AND BOOKED FOR 5. CHECK RIGHT NOW IF YOU CAN.

I tried...nothing available. But I check periodically.

Congratulations! One less person for me to have to run down to get brunch ressies when we board.

We'll be dressed up for Pirate Night...very dressed up. We'll be having dinner at Palo that night, Jim will wear a jacket and tie (no suit this time) and I will wear---something nice!

We are "unofficially" celebrating Jim's 62nd birthday. It's not until January 7, but because of work schedules, I can't take off then, so this is the next best thing! Same for the anniversary--it's really Dec. 30 (39 years!!!!), but this cruise is our celebration.

We're also going to OKW after the cruise. We visited there in February and decided to try it out. We'll want to ask you a few questions about DVC. We've been thinking about it for a while, and may soon decide to take the plunge!

I have been too, but for different reasons My hubby will be home really soon! Squee! Been trying to do some planning for this, our WDW trip and another cruise we're going on in January, but can't even concentrate.

Lucky you! You get to cruise in December and January. I bet you can't wait to see your husband after being away, I hope its sooner than later. Thank you to him and you for his service!

As of today, I have 14 more days of work before vacation. I have five days this week, five days next week, then I work on Wednesday of the week after (why do they always schedule MANDATORY TRAINING in the middle of the week???? Then I'm out of the office until Thanksgiving week. I work three days that week and then we're off to have some fun! In between there I have a week-long business trip to Atlantic City, but I love working at conventions, so it isn't really work.

I can hardly wait for this trip!

You're not alone! I don't know who's getting more nuts about this trip? Me, mom, or my husband? We're all in need of breaks because our jobs have been just nuts lately.

For me this trip will be extra special. I recently put in my notice after 3 years at the restaurant (Chef, thankfully, did not freak out) so my last day is 11/26/11. I then have a whole week of down time before the cruise. We're staying at WDW for another 5 days after the cruise and I'm not going to start planning my next career move until January. I'M TAKING DECEMBER OFF! I've got some ideas and possible options but I just want a break to regroup.

So I'm getting one of those "I'm Celebrating..." buttons and writing on it: "I'm celebrating my next career step!" I was going to say "I'm celebrating putting my big girl panties on!" but this is a family show after all.

Just want you all to know--I am absolutely bored to death here at work right now!

I just finished the HUGE project which had to be done before vacation, and I have one more small project which has to be completed before the convention in Atlantic City, so, with a bit of free time on my hands, I just read all the way through this thread! Yup, right from the very beginning. I realized that I was so excited when I found this thread that I never went back to the beginning.

I also realized how many times I changed my plans in the last 8 months! My poor TA!!!! But now it's too late to change anything. We'll be staying at the Radisson at the Port before and after our Magic Cruise, and then going to OKW for three nights after our Dream Cruise.

I can't wait much longer for the time to go by!

Sounds like a lot of us have the same plans! We're overnighting in Cocoa Beach by where we got married the night before the cruise and then we have a condo in Windsor Hills for a few days upon returning for 4 days at WDW!

We are flying down on 12/1 and staying at the Pop until 12/4. It will be DD 1st trip to WDW and my Bday on 12/3. My big brother lives in the Orlando area so we are meeting up with him and his wife one day. Unfortunately, it's right back home after the cruise. I'm just so grateful to be going on this trip. DH was out of work for 8 months last year and we never thought a big trip would happen this year. SO EXCITED!!!

Everybody staying at the Radisson got your shuttle booked? My wife called and the earliest they could get us on was 11am. We're thinking about taking a taxi this time since 11am is our PAT.

If the weather's good, you'll find me somewhere near the pool or on the patio outside the restaurant with my crocheting and (hopefully) a huge bag of finished snowflakes! It's a LONG trainride down!

Everybody staying at the Radisson got your shuttle booked? My wife called and the earliest they could get us on was 11am. We're thinking about taking a taxi this time since 11am is our PAT.

We're planning on a taxi too, since we're Platinum and can arrive at any time. We don't need to be onboard too early, since we don't want to upgrade and we don't need to make reservations for anything. We'd rather relax, have a nice breakfast and wait for the crowd to thin out before we head to the ship. It's a short ride, so we'll be there in plenty of time for lunch!

See my reply to Sistert--if the weather's good, we'll be sitting outside somewhere, me with my crocheting and Jim reading his Kindle or snoring on a chair! If you see us, stop by and say hello.

I'm crafty, but not in the knitting or crochet way. My MIL has tried multiple times to teach me...no go.
