Dec 26 Expected MK Closure?

Unfortunately circumstances are forcing our travel itinerary towards the busiest week of the year.

On Dec 26 we plan to visit AK but in the evening our plans take us to see Wishes/Fireworks. Dec 26 has been known to be closure date at some level.

Question: At some level (resort goer/AP holder), can we expect that regardless of what happens during the day, the MK will reopen by evening so that we can attend the night events (essentially, do closed parks typically re-open?)

Likely true.

No guarantees, as each year, each day, can bring unexpected crowd situations.

We did AK on the 26th once. It was incredibly packed that morning. Almost MK-crowd-worthy. We drove home after we did a few things there, so I have no idea what the afternoon/evening were like for the parks.

I've also did MK on Christmas Eve and it was wall to wall people (really hard to get around anywhere), yet the park was not closed.
