After our wonderful breakfast at Hollywood & Vine we decided to walk the park to see what kind of waits the rides had. I took a few snaps along the way!
We caught a little of the street performers which - as always - were hilarious!
The Christmas decorations at DHS are nice, but not my favorite. MK's Christmas decorations are just so classic - I love them!
Little lady decided to take charge and lead us to our first attraction of the day!
Stroller parking lots always amuse me! So neat and organized - I love the looks of it. Unfortunately they aren't as easy to navigate!! Once the CM moves your stroller and crams it into the row it is sooo hard to get it out! Alas, not that big a deal - a minor inconvenience in a magical land!
Our fearless leader let us right to Muppet Vision 3D. We timed it just perfect and there was no wait - we headed straight into the theater. This was the first time we did the Muppet movie and we really liked it!!! Ava thought it was funny and Levi giggled all the way through it and even wore his glasses!!
After Muppet Vision we headed over to the Studio Backlot Tour. Hubs was super excited about this since we'd never done this either!
Ava frightens semi-easily and was overwhelmed with the water & fire. I loved that I caught the expressions in 'real time'.
We made it through the walking portion of the attraction and boarded our chariot
Catastrophe Canyon made the kids a little nervous!! Fire, water, and a super shaky bridge!
Ava fell in love with the Mickey plane and wanted to know if we could ride it back home!
My favorite area was the costume design section!! I wish we could have stopped the tram and looked for awhile! Such a neat thing!
We finished up the backlot tour and headed over to another first!!
Hubby absolutely loved this! It was right up his ally and I'm so glad we did it!! Levi and Ava liked it, but it was a little long and they lost interest fairly quickly. Another thing - we got there a little late and had to go to the tippy top of the 'bleachers'. I thought I was going to pass out! I was carrying a baby, holding a 3yr olds hand, trying to take deep breaths because I was freaking over the height (rides are fine, but physically standing somewhere so tall - I was having a cow). Going down was even harder! Lesson learned - get there EARLY!
And here is where I saw the saddest, scariest, most horrifying thing I've ever witnessed at Disney World.....
When we got to the Stunt Show Levi was sleeping in the stroller so I sent Ava and hubs on ahead. While parking the stroller I noticed there was a stroller with a baby in it near the entrance to the stroller parking area. The baby was very small - maybe 2-3 months old and was sound asleep. There wasn't a soul around - no CMs, no mamas, nobody really in the general area. I took my time parking our stroller and putting the bag in the compartment below - all the while hoping a mama would appear out of nowhere and claim the baby. 10 minutes pass by and still no adult. I happen to see a CM and my gut tells me to mention it - and I do. I told him that there was a baby in the stroller near the entrance to the parking area and I had been in the area for nearly 15 minutes and have yet to see a parent with the infant. He says he'll keep a watch and hopefully the mother is in the general vicinity. I went ahead in the show. I had to get up early because Levi was screaming and hungry. We made our way down the millions of stairs and over to our stroller and that baby was STILL there and the CM was gone

I stayed in the area until I saw my husband and Ava coming, loaded the kids up in the stroller, and told hubs about the baby. About then a mother and two other small children come up to the abandoned stroller and infant and begin loading up their things. In complete disbelief I said something like "wow, he sure has been napping soundly!" to the mother and she replied that she didn't want to wake him and since this was DISNEY she knew he'd be safe..... So she watched the entire stunt show with her two other children while leaving her infant unattended. I almost passed out.... I just stared at her in shock and she turned around and left... I still can't believe how careless. I shutter to think what could have happened...
