Disney allows a maximum of 30 days on a single reservation. I have booked Dec. 10-31. The problem is..... I had to book it in two separate reservations. Dec. 10-19 pre holiday rate. Dec. 20-31 holiday rate. I have tried many date combinations and called back a zillion times hoping to get a CM that could work some magic and be able to get my stay on one reservation at the preholiday rate. Nope. Today I asked to speak to the supervisor and she spent a long time trying to help me but she said its like there is a brick wall on Dec. 20 that wont let anything after that be tied into a preholiday rate reservation. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem?? I understand Disney's job is to make money, but my job is to try to save myself some money!

Probably get flamed for this, but, I feel that the price one pays should depend on the season that day is in. No overlapping rate changes.

I'd have no problem with paying the seasonal rate if that was when I was arriving. Disney policy has always been to grant the rate of your stay based on the day of arrival. I understand that Christmas is a sold out season for them and I am certainly thankful to have my reservations and will pay whatever rate thay require. Dont have to be happy about them changing policy.

On second thought....Disney hasnt changed policy...I am paying the rate of my check in date for the second reservation. They just made it so that I counted get all the days I wanted on one reservation.
