For those of you who are still booked at All Stars, I just want to say "don't worry too much": we have been there twice during Pop Warners and have never had a major problem with the kids. I usually request an upper floor, and try to get one of the buildings further back away from the pool and it hasn't been an issue. My understanding is that although many of them stay at All Stars, they are really all over and you can run into them at almost any hotel. (Well, probably not many at GF!)
Of course, we tend to be on the first bus to the parks in the morning and return on the last, so we don't spend much time at the resort, and by the time we do get back to the room, it would take more than a few teenagers to keep us from falling asleep immediately! I suppose if you plan to be in your room most of the evening or want to sleep in, maybe they will be a nuisance. But most of the day they are busy with their football and cheering events anyway.
We have
AAA rates for Music three nights prior to the cruise, but Disney didn't have the CCF rate in the system for those dates. We didn't check the weekend after the cruise, since we booked Movies through one of the Mousefest travel agencies to be able to take advantage of a special event. The price differences were only a few dollars anyway.
I love the "Deluxe" hotels at Christmas--especially Wilderness Lodge--but we have decided we just aren't in the room long enough to justify the prices. So we'll stop in there and the Grand Floridian lobby to enjoy the tree and garland, but drop our bags at the All Stars. The Value hotels are cheaper than most hotels you will find in any major city, so to get the Disney touch for so little is awesome!!!
