Dec. 2, 2007-4 night Wonder and MouseFest Cruise

Well I managed to get our early dinner seating moved to the later one. So we should be seeing some of you there.

I just counted 12 weeks and one day. :cool1:  :cool1: Actually 12 weeks til my little Camry peels out of the drive way to head to FL. I need a vacation.

I need to get to planning/packing. My girls came down the other day and ask where the cruise box was. Our last cruise, I started packing the cruise box with things about a year out. A little OCD (but only when planning the vacation). Is there a thing called Vacation OCD?
I don't have a cruise box yet. I had to use the last one to pack away my Disney Christmas Ornaments. Got lots of those.

How are we going to know who is joining in on the secret santa? Do we have a sign up list?

And does anyone know what the weather/temp will be during that time of year? Can we swim and not feel like an ice cube?

thanks
vickie

Yeah, one more week down. It helped having a short week too, just that much more for me to do next week when I get into the office.

Ann Marie and I are taking the kids out for our 12th anniversary, I know we should have our heads examined :rotfl2:

12 weeks till the cruise, 12th anniversary...maybe we should play the lottery. Every one have a great weekend.

Glad that worked out for you, Marilyn. Here's hoping there'll be some Palo ressies available for you and John as well. We'll be seeing you at late seating!!

Good Morning All

There was a mention of a dis meet in Palo, I am cruising with my 2 DDs who are not old enough to go to Palo, but I would like to go to Palo.

If someone is going to get a group up would you mind if I tag along? Or if there is anyone that is in the same situation I am in maybe we could book together. I just don't want to be sitting there all alone.

thanks

I had made an announcement, but I did not receive enough response to try and make a ressi, however I asked my TA if we could add two addtion person to our ressi, but was told to that could be done on ship. I think Im going to call disney today to see if they cound combine to stateroom to one ressi. that is if your interested in dinning with others.

Update on :santa:
So far the Disers below has emailed me to Participate in Secret Mickey gift given . There are several Diser on Ray's roll call that has their stateroom # listed but has not indicated interest in playing.
Since this is a group activity what is your thought,Stateroom will need some kind of stocking to place the gifts . I will reset the deadline date to 11/1/07 this will ensure that gives up plenty of time to make sure we have enough gifts

.

Is everyone at the late seating? We signed up for early dinner seating again as we liked it last year. After dinner there is just enough time to wonder the shops on the way to the theater for the shows. The shows are all great, not to be missed!

For some reason we were just given early seating, but I didn't worry at first. Then I began to think if it was a 5.30pm seating we would have to be getting ready at 4.30 and I didn't fancy that, so managed to get it changed - at least it leaves an opening for families at the early seating.

You'd still have to be getting ready early if you want to see the shows before dinner since you'll be eating during the later shows. Maybe it's just me, but I like dinner first and then show.

Yes, there is that and there is no ideal really. I also thought that if you ate early and felt full you have longer to settle before bedtime.

Neither time is quite perfect I think.

Hi All,
WHEW! I just read through all 458 posts and really enjoyed "getting to know" you all. This is my first posting and I hope it goes through.
This will be my 3rd cruise on Disney Wonder (2002 & 2003) and I'm really excited to be going back. 2 weeks ago my daughter and I were talking about our cruise memories and we decided it was time to go again, especially since my grandaughter doesn't remember the 2 she was on. So after we booked our room, my husband, who has never been interested in cruising, shocked us by expressing an interest in maybe going. So I immediately called to see about upgrading and we were able to get an incredible 1 bedroom family suite on deck 8 - I could hardly believe it! Hey, Michael and Marc - we may be neighbors.
So here we come, DH, DD, and DGD - 7.
And Kimmy, we are practically neighbors now. I'm in N. Olmsted and maybe I'll get a chance to see you on the way down to Orlando, since we are leaving Dec 1 too.
My sympathies to all the Michigan fans - it doesn't look good.
Well, I wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to sharing my excitement with you all!

Rachel

Hi Rachel and welcome. Glad you have joined our little group. Seems like we have some lovely new friends we are about to make.

We are grandparents too(see my username, that I would now love to change!!), but none of our children are ready to make the journey over yet.

Looking forward to meeting you.
