Please tell me that it won't be so crowded we won't be able to enjoy it! After months of planning and everything in order I just couldnt shake the feeling we should do this. I threw caution to the wind and ordered the tickets. Now...to see if I can get an ADR! :goodvibes

Well I know of four tickets that were purchased and are going to go unused. So that will free up four spots at the party. DH broke his leg and we have had to cancel everything. I have tried calling about returning the tickets and getting our money back but no one is willing to let us do it.
Try getting an ADR at Concourse or Whispering Canyon then you can just go over to the MK after dinner. Good Luck and I hope you have a wonderful time at the party. :flower:

Well, if it helps, we've been to both the Halloween and Christmas parties numerous times. We've always found Sunday nights to be the least crowded, due to the fact, I think, that not many locals attend on Sunday night since they have to work, etc. the next day. So, I don't think it will be too bad that night.

By the way, we'll be there that night, too!

We found that even off days for MVMCP are pretty croweded.. BUT we still love the party. Decide what you want to do and be there early and it will be fun. The later parade is less crowed and it thins out as the night wears on. Our action plan is to rest during the afternoon, arrive about 4:00, ride a few rides and have a PS for LTT about 5:45. EAt and be well into the park for party opening at 7:00. GEt your picture done early and try to hit all the specail things that are not going on during the day. We found ride line almost nonexsisitant, but we did not have time to ride and do all the shows we want to hit. Characrters are everywhere!! Have a fun night!!!

We loved MVMCP last year. My dd's (9yo and 6yo) got to hula hoop with Chip and Dale behind Dumbo in Fantasyland. There were NO lines at all to see Cinderella and Prince Charming. It was the only time we rode the tea cups -- no line at all. This is the one thing my dd's asked to do again this year!

We just booked tickets for it for the last night we are going to be there (12/1). My question is...if we can get in early (before the 6pm close of the park), how do they clear out the park of the regular day visitors, but leave us in it? Also, what is the earliest you can get in for the MVMCP? I guess we should plan on getting there quite a bit before 7pm....?

Last year we were in MK for the whole day of our MVMCP [had a late breakfast at Chef Mickey, then hopped on the monorail over to the park). Around 4 PM or so we could pick up armbands (we had to have our confirmation number). Then when they started directing traffic, they left us alone. We were in Tomorrowland, so that may be where they were directing all the MVMCP people. There are hidden ways out of the park behind the shops facing main street. They directed people down those 'alleys' to leave. The place to get your picture taken (free with the event) was in Tommorowland, so the more I think about it I be they were directing people for the MVMCP that way.

We had no problem riding every ride we wanted without much of a line, but we didn't hang around for the parades. My teens just weren't into that as much last year.

We will be there that night...I have to purchase my tickets this weekend!! It will just be DH and myself. We are going down w/my parents, DS and my nephew. My parents are going to take DS and DN that night so we can enjoy ourselves!! Hooray!!!!! :cool1: :) :flower: :flower:

We will be there that night too. It is our first visit to Disney. It is our first night there. We get in around 11 am. Will check in our stuff, hopefully get an early check into our room. We have ADR at CRT at 5:30. I am so excited I can not stand it. My kids, 5 and 2 do not know, it will be a surprise. Starting our trip with dinner in the castle and a xmas party with mickey does not get any better for us.
