Hello everyone. We are looking to book our second cruise on the Dream. As crazy as it may seem, we are "foodies", and on our last cruise, we ate at Remy 3 times and Palo 1 time. And yes, it was a 4 day cruise.

We probably set a new record with that. But as you can imagine, booking Remy and Palo are a HUGE part of the upcoming trip for us.

So this year, we want to make sure that we can book Remy and Palo (at least once each), preferably on the December 13 cruise.

What's SHOCKING though is that Disney will not tell us if Remy or Palo are available on our trip, UNLESS we actually book the trip. And at that point, the cruise is already paid in full! So we have no way of looking at different sail dates to see if one has better availability than another, etc.

Since this is an odd policy, we were wondering if someone on this board could tell us whether Remy and Palo are available on the December 13 cruise (or cruises around then). We would REALLY appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

One of my friends (and client) wants me to check on this for her as she's cruising with us ) Will let you know what I find out for her.

If Dec 13th works for you go ahead and book it. Both are available for a few times for 2 adults but can't promise they will be there for long. Good luck!

Hi, everyone! I'm Rachel. DH(Mike) and I just booked this cruise this morning. This will be our first Disney cruise. We are staying at WDW pre cruise then rushing off to Ft Lauderdale for another cruise after we get off the Dream on the 16th(if anyone else is doing this, we would be thrilled to carpool).

It's been half term here in the UK this week & as we couldn't wait any longer to give DD's there birthday surprise & told them yesterday I have spent all day today shopping

Hi there! We just booked our cruise first one for me on the Dream (used to be a CP and did the Wonder back in the day) First cruise for my two girls and my mom, First Disney for the Hubs. We are actually doing a back2back on the Dream. SUPER EXCITED

I just learned about the FE and I would love to join if there is time! Let me know. If not no worries we can join next time!

Also any advice for excursions and such with a 2 year old and a 3 year old will be greatly appreciated! Can't wait to see you all!!

mickeyphile- Congrats on getting a deal! DSis and I are a little sad that they now have verandah's for the price of what we got our oceanview for however we can't upgrade as it's only for new bookings. But not that sad cause we are still cruising I will get you added to the FE but note that you will have to get your items probably from the Concerierge desk or area as they usually won't allow individuals back there to deliver items. I do know some host/hostess have delivered items in the past for folks but I guess it depends on how busy they are and how nice they want to be

courtslp- FB page sounds great although I don't FB. DSis does though and can keep me updated.

As for decorations, they do decorate for the holidays during this time so plan to take plenty of pictures.

Thank you for welcoming us into the group. As each day passes I am getting more and more excited about the upcoming cruise. It's harder to celebrate because we are still keeping this a secret from the kids so I have to watch what I say. I am assuming that you have been busy and will get us the final FE list in the next few days. I agree with you that it makes sense to just do one gift (either to all individuals or an entire family) during the course of the cruise from each cabin. This way it is easier to organize and transport the gifts. Thanks for telling me about the Concierge delivery method. I will make sure to speak with someone once onboard so that they can keep out things at the desk to collect each day.

Hope you are keeping safe during Hurricane Sandy. We are expecting quite a storm. Let's see how it goes.

I was torn on whether or not to sign up for the FE but I think I'm going to pass. Hopefully I will do it next time we cruise as it sounds like a lot of fun and something my kids would enjoy.

45 days to go feels so close! I just printed the packing list tonight. Time to start getting organized.

We are driving to the port. Last time we parked at port for a cost of $60 plus tip. I know many people park at park n cruise for a fraction of the cost. For those of you that have done this, Is it pretty convenient?
