Debra~Have you ever stayed in the all star resorts before?? I was thinking of booking music. But, I just love POP. So, I went with POP again. But, I always wondered about music.

If, my hubby agrees to it. I am going to book a free bounceback 7 night stay. For myself, and my oldest son. At CSR. I always wanted to stay there.

Anyhow, that would be so cool if you could save more. Well, talk to you soon!

I've never stayed at any of the all stars before either. I have already started talking about the bounceback to my hubby too . The only problem is that i think it conflicts with the kids fall break. It is usually 2nd week of October and i think the bounceback expires the 1st week. We wont know until march the next year's schedule so I may book anyway and then change or cancel if I have to.

I dont know if this will save us money as I already have free dining. One thing is for sure - I dont think I will be using a travel agent again - Disney or not.

A trip just you and your son sounds great! Last year i took princess Chi to disney just me and her just so she could go to the BBB. We all went in June and I couldn't get her an appointment. When she saw the shop at the downtown she just sat and cried. She was so dissappointed. So I planned a trip for her birthday specifically for the BBB in the caste. She loved it!!

jaymesmommy~ Welcome to our swap! How cool to be at WDW over Christmas! I bet you are so excited. This swap is great we get to use a really nice stroller and it only costs $15. If you decide to join us you will have to use paypal to Parith (although I believe someone else is covering for her while she is at Disney!) She will be back in a week so you would be able to PM her for all the info if you want to wait for her. Otherwise it is Debra or Faindrops (can't remember )
I am the person who has stroller prior to you and I leave on the 15th of Dec. If you want you could contact your resort and ask them if they will hold the stroller for 10 days till you get there. It was not a problem with POFQ (my resort) I assume you should not have a problem with it. If they wont we can plan something else. I know I could leave it at POFQ and you should be able to pick it up from there! We also have a while before our vacations and who knows maybe we will fill in the gap between us!
I hope you join us, it is simple and cheap!! Not to mention it is fun talking to everyone here

Debra~ That, is so nice you took your princess. This will be the first time, I am bringing back my lil princess since, 2005! I took my 14 yr old in 2006. Just a mom, and son bonding trip we had a blast. We stayed at Rosen shingle creek. Did 3 days at universal. Then went over for 8 days of Disney free dining. He still talks about our trip today! So, I was figuring since he will miss this trip due to high school. I would take him the end of August, beginning of Sept, next year. He is a great kid, does excellent in school, so he deserves it. I may surprise him.

I am landing in the afternoon on the 25th but will need it bright and early on the 26th as we are hitting hte parks. I am willing to meet up on the night of the 25th. I will send paypal today to the account listed as I definetley want to do this.

I got your pm. I am new to this as well. But, it has been so nice, and easy! This is definately a great bunch of Disfriends here! There is really nothing to really know. Except, just to keep in contact with the swappers before, and after you. To agree upon a drop off/pick up location.

Other, than that. You can come here, and express your excitement. I usually post something everyday. It has been nice, just chit chatting, with everyone. Getting to know one another!

Has anyone ever been to La Nouba?

Xrayvin- I was so close to purchasing La Nouba tickets. But, decided to do a day at universal, and the Holy Land Experience instead. I will get around to it one day.

I love broadway productions. So, I am sure I would love La Nouba. Maybe next year. Are you going?

We are doing one adult night while we are on vacation. The original plan was to go to the Adventures' Club, now that will be closed so we are looking for other things. We thought we might just do Boardwalk and maybe end up at Jellyrolls. Last night my sister called and she asked about La Nouba (I had asked her about this before but she felt it would be too expensive) so now I am not sure what we are doing.
The reviews have been wonderful, but it is pretty spendy and it is shorter then a movie! I was also wondering if it really made a difference what cat seating you did. $77 vs $124. We all enjoy broadway shows and I had really wanted to see "O" in Vegas with no luck.
I was hoping we may be able to sneak our dates into the Visa free dinning code. With that savings we definatly would have been able to do this. But our dates where not included in the offer. No savingd for us!

I too have wanted to see La Nauba. I passed the opportunity during an all girls weekend in Florida before kids when the tickets were about $50. Now it would cost us $70 x 7 = $490 to go to a show!!

We too love live stage performances but when my mom and I took 4 kids to see the Lion King on Broadway and after intermission my 2yr old started screaming that he didn't want to go in because it was his bedtime and he wanted to go home and go to bed! I swore I wouldn't spend money on taking kids to expensive shows again.

But then the Alabama Ballet did Peter Pan and my mom wanted to take us so we went and my then 4 year old slept the entire time. When it was over he jumped up and yelled 'mom, that was my favorite part!'

Now when we want to go it is just my mom and me.

About the disney visa code... my TA said she couldn't find anything for our dates. But I shouldn't complain because we are still getting free dining and that is a heck of a deal if you ask me even if you are paying rack rate on rooms. We also noticed that since we are renting two rooms anyway it wouldn't cost us much more to bring a sitter so we invited my niece. Since I am now the proud owner of a 12 passenger van she can ride with us, the room and dining is paid for, all I have to add is the cost of her ticket. I think that is a great deal for a sitter for a week!
