Debra's Revived Double Stroller Swap ***FULL***

Hi everyone - we will be travelling to WDW Oct 31 - Nov 8 and I am interested in a stroller swap. We have 4 girls the youngest ones being 6 and 3 and I know their little legs will be tired. Besides the fact that it's nice to have the stroller to hold some of the bags, etc. This is all new to me so I'll need a bit of a crash course on the details of how it works. From reading other posts I understand that it is up to me to get in touch with the individual who has the stroller the dates before and after me to set up the swap. How do I pay for the stroller? What happens if for some reason the swap fails? Thanks for your help!

If you would like to join please pm me and I will get you all the payment info. Thanks for considering our swap.

PJZKENT~
I am so afraid of soarin but so excited for it also! I am afraid it will make me sick, but there have been lots of people who say only the part at night with the lights are the motion sickness area...I WANT to do this ride so bad! What do you think? Are you prone to motion sickness?

Wow!!! We have a page 9 and possibly a 9th swapper. Come on swappers we need accessories.

Yes, the part in the dark is the part that makes me a little dizzy. I just close my eyes through that part.

You will love the ride. Don't miss it. I was so scared to do it. As, I am afraid of heights. But, there was nothing to be scared for. It is a great ride! Now, mission to mars. I never have to do again. I did it twice, and I don't need to give it a third try. :sad2:

Hey Parith - I am unable to PM you since I am new to the boards and only don't have 10 posts. Can you initiate a PM to me and then I can reply to it? I am interested in participating and am excited about not having to drag a stroller through the airport or having to pay for it to get to Florida with all of the new airline baggage changes!

Thanks!

Not prone to motion sickness, but DH is. He HATES Soarin, and will never ride again. None of it really bothers me, but if you are worried about it, either ride in the front row or the back row, and look up at the ceiling from the front, or down at the floor from the back and you lose the illusion, pretty much takes care of the motion sickness

Also, smell for the oranges when over the orange grove, pretty cool effect

BTW, my user is my husband's first initial, my first initial and my son's first initial. We have 2 more kids, and it is also part of our email address, and trying to change it all to a new "handle" and not lose all of my auto emails was just too daunting to deal with

Hey ladies. sorry I have been away so long. I have had a trip to the ER with the baby a week ago and then I was out with the 7 yr old on Friday with a respiratory virus and now I am sick myself. Yuk!
My favorite part of being at disney is the feeling of when you ride the monorail to MK for the first time and get that first look at the castle! You can't beat that natural high knowing that you are THERE.

Hey - I need the baby to grow one more inch by October so that he can ride the barnstormer... any suggestions??

Oh, I hope you all get to feeling better! It is miserable when you are sick. But, even more miserable when your babies are sick.

About your question.
Sneakers with one inch soles. Will do the trick!

Trying to keep us near the top. I feel like I am posting to much.:upsidedow

Kellya6~ Hang in there! I would assume Parith is enjoying the Labor day weekend. I am SO happy to have you part of our swap family!:woohoo:

Debraw76~I hope your houshold is beginning to feel better. I see you are from CO. I used to live in Denver and now I live in Western Nebraska. What part of CO are you in?

I do REALLY want to do Soarin so thanks for the tips! I have been debating over Mission to mars (the easy side) When I read the description to my sister she said "what part of that sounds fun?":scared1: So we may just let the boys tackle that one! Regardless I will be taking Meclizine on park days. I don't get really sick, I just don't want to feel bad. I take this when we cruise and it is WONDERFUL. really no side effects except no queasy feelings with motion!

Hope everyone is having a great long weekend! and looking forward to more chatting when everyone gets back.

I dont know if that will work since Baby Toa is a boy. His dad doesn't like it when I puff his hair and make him wear heels.

:rotfl:

I may try a pair of cowboy boots though.....

Hey all, sorry I've been out of town. We have one additional swapper to Kelly so we are up to 10!!!!

Good evening everyone!

I just wanted to say sorry Debra for mixing up your state:confused3 The funny part is I thought I double checked to make sure it was you from Colorado! I have no idea what I was doing....maybe too much internet surfing. I also wanted to let you know that on your updated list (not on pg 1) you have Dec6 on as open. I have the stroller till Dec 15.

I also wanted to throw out there (once again;) ) that I am definatly interested in a rain cover. If anyone else prior to me is interested I would go in on it with you. I know some of you may have to deal with some "rainy" weather and this may be a life saver for you. If you are interested you can PM me and maybe we can set something up.

Hows that for a bump...

Sorry - I corrected the date on page 9. But then another swapper was added  so i made the changes to page 1.

I am interested in a rain cover also - it is fabric and not the plastic kind like Disney's rentals. I'm afraid that a couple of rains and it will start to get moldy :scared1:
