debate - Which dog would you rather be bitten by and why?

Hey Peachgirl I never said I hated dogs I just don't care for them as pets in my house I like dogs when I can play with them and then leave them at the owners house. Like I said we had numerous dogs growing up I do not like the little yappy poodles that my mother had and that is probably whi I don't care for them now I am sure they are not all like that but the 3 she had tainted them for me. I loved the rottie sheppard cross we had his name was Moose but after we put him down I had no desire to get another dog. Our oldest daughter still talks about Moose the other 2 were not around for him. He was pretty old when my 7 year old was born.Mind you he put up with her antics like pulling his tail and climbing on him and pulling his ears etc when she was a baby. He never once barked at her nipped at her or bit her he would just roll over give a huff and get up and leave the room. The poodles would bite and bark and just be a pain in the butt they were well trained and would follow all their commands but the one dog Ebony was her name just had at the kid while we were playing in the yard and that was it she was put down so we didn't have to have a repeat of that again. So no dog is above attacking and biting people or other dogs or cats or what have you.

No, no dog is above it, the difference is that the pit has the strength to kill a child. Do you see the difference?

I don't believe there has been a single post claiming that there was any breed of dog that is above biting. The point is, do they have the capability to kill? Do they have a history of causing horribly disfiguring injuries? Do they have a history of killing humans?

The answer for the pit bull is yes, yes and yes. It is, without question, the single most dangerous breed of dog that exists.

All dogs have the capacity to kill people no matter the breed it depends on the person (child infant toddler adult) no matter what breed it is it can kill a person yes some breeds would be hard pressed to kill an adult but could kill an infant or toddler al the same. It does take a larger breed usually to kill an adult yes but as I said no breed is above itand it does have alot to do with the handler and so on. I attribute most situations involving dog attacs no matter the breed to a few things. Abuse/neglect of the animal improper or agressive training and instigation by the person being attacked. No not every attack is provoked but most are.

Oh really? Where did you find that information, or did you just make it up?

In our city we have records of dog attacks and generally what has caused them etc and over 70% were provoked in one way or another by the person attacked. If you like you can come up here and check it out for yourself. This is on record with our animal control in this city. I have a good friend who works for animal control so I called him to ask that is how I know.
