Question triggered by the post about how bad customs is at the port in San Diego. We’re just going to get an Uber/cab to the airport in Miami to rent a car. How is the debarkation process generally in Miami? Efficient or bad like it sounds like it is in San Diego? We’re planning on walking off with all our luggage so are we better off getting off asap to beat the crowd, or sleep in a tiny bit and stay on until they make us leave? Not in a rush to get anywhere. Thanks!

We just got back last week. We wanted to delay as much as possible--2pm flight. We ate a leisurely breakfast and then walked off around 9:30 am-all tags but the very last had already been called. Even then, to get off the ship had long lines in the lobby, but it still moved OK-maybe 20 minutes. The line for immigration moved well. I'd say no more than 15 minutes waiting.

I just disembarked from the Dream in MIami this morning, leaving the ship around 9:15am after late breakfast, and breezed through customs without a wait.
