Deb and Matt's Flight

I dont think they are going to be happy it looks like their flight (I am assuming it is with BA?) only just left at 12.30 instead of 9.40 today!

But then again that gives Matt more liquid refreshment time, as I assume they went to the lounge before departure!

They were indeed flying Virgin - due to leave at 9:20 this morning. We are on the same flight on Monday

Hi guys! Thanks for thinking of us . Our flight did take off late due to a passenger with a medical condition having to be off-loaded, but our flight time was just 8 1/2 hours (rather than the 9 hours, 50 minutes scheduled time) so we actually landed 40 minutes ahead of schedule just before 1:30pm EST . Immigration and Customs at Miami were both a tad laborious (nowhere near as slick as the Orlando operation), but we still managed to contend with the off-airport car hire (as they all are at MIA), and arrive at the PGA National, Palm Beach Gardens before 4:30pm EST. We're thrilled with our Lincoln Navigator (at a bargain price through Hertz) and our huge and newly refurbished room at the PGA National. We've spent a lovely evening at the Bar Trap Bar with our host Marc (originally from New York) and his cohort, Rae(from Myrtle Beach). The resort is dead (golf and August don't mix ), so they've had plenty of time to chat.

Think it's time to throw in the towel now. I was awake at 2:30am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep ahead of our 5am wake-up call. It's now 8:40pm EST and 23 hours would appear to be my limit .

Went there many years ago.

I had a look at it on the internet when we first booked the PGA National and I would have loved to have spent some time there, but it doesn't open until 10am and we're hoping to be in Orlando then. We're going straight to SSR to check in and then off to visit Tommy .
