My two standard recommendations:
1 - pop-up hamper - packs easily, takes up little suitcase space, invaluable in the closet in your room.
2 - over-door-shoe-holder with clear pouches - to store/display your toiletries where you can easily see and access them, but they are not taking up counter space. Also takes up very little packing space.
I did a ship-ahead box for our 2008 trip. Included some snacks, travel-size toiletries, soft TP (because I could
), the two items above, etc. Most of it was "consumable" stuff that would be used by the end of the trip and wouldn't have to be re-packed. You still have time to do this if you want.
