OMG it is gorgeous outside!!!!! It was too cold to leave the windows open last night. Mom called me this morning and said it's sweatshirt weather for her drive to work!!!!!

It's been wicked hot, not 90+ but still we usually get at least 1 or 2 days of 70's thrown in there but it has been stuck in the upper 80's forever. blech!

It's been like that here... I love it...but everyone else is miserable.... but I'm usually in the basement doing laundry...so it's always cooler there! LOL

We had the air on yesterday because it hit 90 by 1 - even out here on the farm! Today is supposed to be 81 in the city & without thinking I got up & put on shorts. I'm trying to decide if I should go put long pants on or just close the window...it's freezing! (I know, I know...never satisfied. )

We were so excited in Texas yesterday! We finally had rain yesterday and it was in the upper 80's!!! So much better than 102- which we have been above 100 for like 50 days straight.

Which reminds me.. come Sept.. I need to stalk up on plastic for our house windows (I cover the inside; I'm NOT paying to heat the outside!) and I also need to get several cans of de-icer..can't find it when you need you have to get that early! OOH, and I need to have DH check out pail of ice melt. I know he bought some mid-season but I don't know how much we still have..
