Hear me out.

I know both of you have jobs, that I've heard your amazing at, but everyone seems to love your dining reviews. And there just hasn't been very many lately. So here's a thought. Why don't you have a weekly/biweekly/monthly dining review show. Put it on Mondays so we all have something to look forward to without waiting to Tuesday. The DIS Unplugged has had some great success with the new Trip show and with the revamped Universal Edition, so why not take another leap and put your charming personalities, thoughtful (and sometimes hilarious) insights, and critical palates out there for a chat about the food of Disney.

You guys are amazing and I hope you actually consider this. Because the World (well the DIS World) needs more Kevin and John.

I don't understand why this doesn't happen I know they are super super busy but I am in love with Kevin's style of telling a story.

I seriously hope we get one soon as it seems like it's been forever :(

Although people might "know" Kevin and John now since their visible on the YouTube page

I've not been on to look at it, but don't they run a website called foodie tales where they do dining reviews?
Are they still updating that?

A quick google search shows that Foodietales.com hasn't been updated since October of 2013, but I couldn't say for sure.

You probably answered your own question as soon as you asked it.

I would direct the question to producer , @Dustin. He does the programming of segments and would also be the one to throw new ideas to for consideration.

Any time we get more Kevin and John is a good thing, but since more reviews may be few and far between, I have a suggestion for anyone craving more of their reviews. Now, I don't know how long you've been listening and you may do this already - but this is what I do to feed my unhealthy (some of my family claim, but what do they know?) addiction of the podcasts, I have gone back to the very beginning and am listening to all the old shows. There are oodles of Kevin's food reviews. And added bonuses: Julie's Store Tours, lots of genius-level hilarity by John (I'm up to June 09, if you old timers get that reference), really good Pete rants (the unveiling of D23 was particularly Ire-raising, resulting in a bleep - very exciting), lots of Teresa teasing about her 900 number voice, you get to meet adorable young Will and understand how he fits into the DIS Unplugged Univerese, and of course - Bob, who is the #1 reason that I am so glad I decided to go back and listen to the old shows. To get to know him even a little bit through listening to those first couple of seasons is to fall in love with him. I hope to meet all the podcasters eventually, and to know he isn't one I'll get to meet makes me sad. Really, if you love the podcast and are a relatively new listener, I encourage you to listen to the old ones. It's a great way to kill time between new shows.

FoodieTales was intended to be for people to recommend restaurants in their own home towns. The idea was a place where people could go and read about the places that the locals go to, rather than just the usual chain restaurants.

John has considered reviving FoodieTales, but I understand that he has just been too busy.

Like I said, Ive BLT been on the website so I know nothing about it other than it being mentioned on a show I listened to a few months back.

Couldn't agree more... These reviews are among the highlights of the show.. I can only re-watch the old ones so many times. Kevin and John should have their own food specific show lol.

I don't know what I liked better about that classic Coral Reef review....the review itself, or watching/hearing John and Kevin listen back to it during an anniversary show later.

I too like the reviews and they were always one of my favorite segments. Now that the show is a video format it makes for much better reviews, in my opinion, because we can see pictures. Perhaps they can be half of the second segment as opposed to the whole segment. Just a suggestion.

I'm going to add in my cheers for a food review show by John and Kevin....if this gets enough love, it'll be mentioned on Pete's Popular Threads announcement
THEN they will have ot address/consider it. WooHoo!!

Our family really enjoys listening to your restaurant reviews and it has helped us on more then one occasion to pick a new restaurant to try.
