Please, please teach your fur babies proper camping behavior and practice the same yourself.
We are currently in the 800 loop. Although we frequently bring along our two pups, we sometimes leave them when we know we will be unable to meet their needs due to long days or late times in the parks. In all of our many trips to the Fort, we can honestly say this is the first time we are upset with the lack of respect from our neighboring pet owners. We have heard incessant non-stop yapping from one little guy, accompanied by loud barking from another nearby site. Yes, dogs bark, but we have heard no attempt whatsoever to correct or address the issue.
The icing on the cake was stepping in a huge pile of #### right next to our golf cart this morning. It wasn't there yesterday. C'mon people! You're giving the rest of the responsible pet owners a bad name.
We love seeing the dogs and choose to stay in the pet loops. Bring them along, they're family, but be courteous to others.
Thanks!
