In light of recent activities, one being the fact that I feel personally attacked by a moderator, I have decided I will no longer post on this section of the Dis.

Our mission here is to plan weddings and help others do the same. Not to talk about your morning sickness

If this quote doesn't single me out then I must be crazy. I am hurt but I would not want this moderator to think I'm whiney or that she's babysitting me, so instead I will do as is obviously wanted, and leave. I would never want to upset PrettyinTink by posting pics of my wedding which might have been too long ago for her to care about.

I will continue to update my pregnancy thread on the families board and if anyone would like my email address you can PM me.

I have really enjoyed reading your journals and you have given me so much help with planning my own wedding. I brought pictures of your bouquet on my planning session and the florist said she remember you and would make my flowers like yours. So thank you.

We will miss you here but will keep up with you on the other boards. I know alot of brides on this board do not like going over to the others but as I started with the Disboards over 6 years ago for when we went on our Disney Cruise and have used all the other boards for trip planning, resort planning and great meal ideas - I check out all the other boards as well. I have gotten some great tips on the budget board and the weight loss board. I will find you and keep up with your baby progress.

absolutely rediculous! You are able to bring so many tips on the wedding front to so many members who need it. Most people in here dont care if you mention that your feeling abit sick in a post so why should you be attacked for it from just one person (mod or not!)

Just because we are in a weddings section does that mean we are not allowed to make a passing comment about something other than weddings in a thread???!!! If thats the case then i'm sure half the posters here are guilty!

Im sure the feelings of the said moderator (whoever it may be because i'm not on here alot so dont know whats going on) does not reflect the feelings of most of the members on here PrincessBride010103. It will be a terrible shame to lose someone who has been there, seen it, done it and got married.

I wish you would change your mind, as like i say above, you are able to help so many disbrides-to-be. hope the mod is proud that disbrides are losing out because of a worthless moan!

I know I am a major lurker and there's definitely a good chance you have no idea who I am... but I have enjoyed following both ur PJ and ur TR and I can't believe you won't be around when I get married in 2.5 yrs... I'm with my high school sweetheart too and I think we would have gotten along really well... I'll miss ur witty comments and the out-and-out hilarious ones... thanks for all the help you've given to me and other future brides... it has been a pleasure and I'll continue to follow ur pregnancy! cn't wait to finally see lil Eric... good luck!

Amanda..girl...don't let people push you away!!!!!! You are not like that,i know you don't let people do that to you...UMM first of all whp cares what people think about you.

We love you and that's all that matters..you have more friends than haters..and if people have a problem with seeing your wedding pictures pop up every now and then,they are probably jealous because you are a beautiful girl inside and out..your not fake at all like people out there in the world. Don't worry about what random people who barely post on here think about you.

I'm so sorry that happened and you feel you have to leave I'm mostly a lurker now since my wedding was almost 3 years ago. I give input when I feel it's relevant, but I love reading about everyone's day and seeing pictures. I especially enjoyed yours!

Nor do i understand where she felt we were complaining about the mods?? I completely understand your decision. And I am really struggling with doing the same. I am torn because I feel I do have an obligation to finish my TR, but at the same time several recent events have left me completely unmotivated to do so. Why should past brides stay to answer questions and help future brides when we aren't really supposed to be here?

The message is pretty clear.

Anyway, I will keep up with you on the family boards. I can't wait to see baby Eric! And I, for one, LOVED reading about your MORNING SICKNESS and all of your other pregnancy ups and downs!

Amanda! I am a major lurker on this board, although I rarely okay well never post. I find it hard to believe that this is happening to you... so much for pixie dust on this board. Other brides talk about personal events that have happened to them and your pregancy is a personal event. How may brides have written comments about the flu, car accidents, fights with wedding guests? I feel your morning sickness falls into the same category. I also feel that the moderator could have worded the message differently. I'll miss you Amanda but I'll subscribe to your other journal. Your wedding has given me so many ideas for my upcoming wedding.

We all appreciate your input and loved reading your pj and tr. I also highly doubt that those who made the personal attacks got repremanded. You've honestly inspired so many brides on this board and have been so sweet, kind, and hilarious! Like BelleBride said, I can't imagine you not being here when it comes time for my wedding (again, probably like 2.5 years from now just like hers)! I feel like I personally know you only from your PJ and TR and it's a shame that, apart from going to the Families board that I have NO business in (hehe), I won't be able to keep up with your happiness in your marriage and new baby.

Ugh..you know I've considered doing the same thing, lately it feels that certain people aren't welcome here at all, and I haven't even had my wedding yet. Things have gotten so silly with the 'rules' lately. Now this happens...well its their faults. We are losing one of the greatest contributors to this board. As mentioned above, I will miss your humor and crazy-off-the-wall comments. They were very welcome by 99% of the people here. I will def be following along your pregnancy journal. I really hope things change around here soon, so maybe you will post here again. Future brides have no idea what they're missing without your wonderful pregnancy horomones! If things don't change soon though, I'm sure you won't be the last one to leave. I think a lot of us already have one foot out the door...just waiting for one final push.

Hey you... I personally would love to hear about your morning sickness it makes me feel better because I don't have it anymore!

At the end of the day girl, you know who you are and the people on here who have taken the time to get to know you, love you! You're awesome, beautiful, and a great assett to this board.

I see where you are coming from and all this has gotten a bit out of hand lately... I wish you wouldn't leave, but I know I can count on you anyway to help with any questions I have and I know we'll stay in contact!
