To be serious for a moment - just to be clear - DH was both nerdy when we met and a GREAT guy. He knows I kid about him on these boards and if it bothered him, I wouldn't.

But I agree with you - I had lots of friends who dated the "cool" guy and let us just say, it didn't work out.

Well it has nothing to do with my DH, but a group of men that are Physician's.... as most of you know I am writing a book with one, well they are all driving me nuts, every last one of them.. One of my female Dr's told me they drive her nuts as well.. I told her look the bottom line is, they are men! One man is more than enough to put up with, me I have about 24... Darn, I would like to make them into a 2 year calendar, sad thing is they are all going to the moon, I am even sending my DH with them...

I'll bite...I'm getting a divorce from a man who was physically and mentally abusive and today he picked a fight with me because he no longer wants to give me the $200 a month that he'd agreed to...he makes double what I do, I got him out of debt 3x during our marriage, and I still owe money on my own credit card because I helped him. Yes, it was stupid, but he was my husband at the time.

How's that?

And the few decent guys that I do meet are married. Story of my life.
